I liked very much the staff, they were very nice and helpful. The rooms are to small, the style is not very pleasant and it has a lot of noise from the street. |

We liked the staff and the convenient location near Union Square. The first two days, we did not have our own room key. The manufacturer of the programable room locks/card swipes had gone bankrupt some time ago and the hotel owner has been reluctant to replace them because of cost (so we were told). By day 3 we had our own room key card. Bedspread had holes in it - owner obviously reluctant to invest to keep bedding in good condition. 100 year old elevator lift failed on the weekend, so had to walk up stairs to our fifth floor room for two days. Only ice machine in the hotel was located in the basement. Continental breakfast very poor, not even the availability of cereal, fresh fruit, or even ordinary bread to make toast. Housekeeping asked if they could do the room every other day. |

The close proximity to all the main attractions and the easy walk to the bart system We did ask for a smoking room and on arrival was told that the hotel was fully non-smoking and we had to stand in the street where no ashtrays were provided. We also had a room at the front of the hotel and the double glazing was not that good so we got a lot of traffic noise |

Very nice hotel close to downtown San Francisco, near to public transport, perfect to visit the city. Good continental breakfast, rooms clean and comfortable |

The service was excellent. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Overall, a great value and great location. The room was a bit stuffy--a fan in the window might have helped, but it was unseasonably hot in SFO the weekend we were there. |

I liked the manager and his prudence in handling our situation when one of our booked rooms were not readily available. He offered us a room in an alternative hotel and offered us a free parking for a day. Thats good value to us. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay in SF downtown. |

Very good location in the center of the city. Nicely furnished rooms. At least the rooms on the backyard side are quiet. Room was quite small even though it was one of the biggest rooms in the hotel. |

We had a minor injury occur the night of our stay and the hotel had NO first aid kit. They came up with 2 bandaids and had nothing else. They really need to be more prepared in that respect. |

La habitación, su microondas y la no limitación de bagels en el desayuno. El ascensor (muy original) es algo complicado de abrir si vas con muchas maletas. |

Sehr zentrale Lage Zimmer zur Straße hin sehr laut. Zimmer sehr klein. Frühstücksraum im Keller in kleinen Räumen, ohne Fenster, notdürftig gestrichen, Leitungen und Rohre deutlich sichtbar - Atmosphäre entsprechend schlecht. Personal nicht sehr freundlich, Frühstücksangebot sehr einfach. |

L'hotel si trova in una posizione ottima per visitare la città. E' pulito e quindi buon rapporto qualità-prezzo Il fatto che al check in mi è stato offerto un prezzo inferiore a quello concordato inizialmente, e poi hanno ritratto dicendo che si erano sbagliati, ma infatti stavano facendo un'offerta x 3 notti. |

Location de l'hotel ideale à San Fransisco, en plein centre, 5 min a pied de Union square. Personnel très aimable, chambre petite mais propre et bien pour le tarif! Très bon rapport qualité prix pour un hotel en plein centre |
