Fitzpatrick Grand Central  

Very clean and tidy Hotel in an excellent location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We have stayed at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central before and would definately stay there again. It's good value for money for a New York hotel, especially concidering it's location. We had absolutely no complaints at all.

Fitzpatrick is very friendly, efficient and well located. Prices are always competitive.

I loved the rich, warm feeling in the lobby. The area to the right of the main entrance reminded me of a library in an Irish countryside home. I loved sitting there to watch people or read the New York papers that were complimentary. Our room was tastefully appointed and very clean and updated. A perfect setting! The concierge who greeted us the first day of our visit was extremely helpful and courteous.

I was disappointed with my breakfast in the Wheeltapper Pub. The furniture was old and beginning to wear and the table had greasy spots. The food was barely edible. The concept is great, but the restaurant needs a face lift.

Location, services and facilities, and above all the management and staff being pleasant, friendly and courteous.

Nothing really. Maybe not for this section but there was a delay in availability of a room on checking in.

Value and location. I dont mind paying for a room (within reason) as long as it doesnt skimp on quality. Everything was quality. Particularly noticable and rare in nyc.

It was nice and quiet yet close to Times Square etc and we were just three floors up , which suited us . Staff were very helpful during our six nights and the coffee shop next door was first class also .

We would have liked a bed and breakfast rate at the hotel , we did not rate the adjoining bar too highly .

To my pleasant surprise, upon late arrival for my first ever stay at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel, I was greeted by name without first introducing myself; something that's never occurred at any other hotel upon my first stay, or second for that matter. The room accommodations were immaculate, luxuriously appointed and QUIET...a tall order for any hotel room in Manhattan. The Customer Service Representatives went above and beyond without question to accommodate my late-night requests. I will stay here again.

Pleasant efficient staff, small but cozy room with operating windows for fresh air. Clean and well maintained hotel with a nice Irish themed (what else?) bar and restaurant. We had a meal there and the food was ok. Bar has an outdoor covered/heated patio with a smoking section which I appreciated. Concierge was friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was invisible and no bother I.E. did not wake me up early to clean room etc. Overall pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.
