Staff were excellent
Irish oatmeal excellent! Service just ok. Nice apartment feel to the hotel as opposed to a large hotel.
Location Friendly Staff Good sized suite
Had to pay for WiFi Plug in the sink did not work
The location, the atmosphere, and wonderful staff. The restaurant and bar had a good variety of drinks and food.
The room was too hot!
Warm and professional hospitality: welcoming staff, room that was prepared ( lamp on for our evening arrival, bath robe). Coffee shop adjacent to lobby: old school elegance: white table cloths/ napkins, great service)
lack of accessible outlets in our room meant that we took turns charging our phones/ ipads, etc at the outlet in the bath room.
Staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. Overall atmosphere good.
Perhaps a bit pricey.
The staff are very warm and personable. The location is great, almost on the doorstep of Bloomingdale's and a short walk to Central Park. I love the food at the Fitz restaurant too. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I liked the convenience, location and size of this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodations were excellent. We had a great time and enjoyed everything about our stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Not much to say here. Would have liked free WiFi.
The hotel was top class. Bed was very comfie, staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to Central Park
It was a much further walk from Times Square and shopping than advertised.
The value seemed good & the staff worked with my last minute booking.
It'd have been nice to know in advance that the hotel was under renovation. It didn't affect the service though, they were otherwise quite pleasant. It was just a bit odd when one elevator is suddenly out in the morning & carpet is being torn up in another adjacent hotel room.
Most staff were friendly and welcoming.
Some of my requests for help were forgotten and not followed up on.
staff location cleanliness
lack of atmosphere paid wifi $15 night! tv reception awful dressing gowns cheap cheap no mini bar no free water no proper coffee making!
i loved the bathroomnd nd da little shower gel ect dat housekeeping leaves every mor
The fact der was no breakfast came with booking a room for dat price nd no kettle to make a cup of tea at mor/nite
The staff are what make this hotel, especially the waitress who served us breakfast each morning and the waiter on duty in the evenings. The food was good, as was the atmosphere. Convenient for 5th Avenue and Central Park. If you choose to travel by subway there are stations close by.
The staff was very helpful
The restaurant could have been better.
Fantastic staff, so helpful and friendly.
The location, the staff, the room. It was a home from home.
The Fitzpatrick Manhattan was recommended by friends as the hotel to stay in when visiting New York. The very friendly approach of the staff was very apparent. They made us feel welcome and recognised us as a valued customer. The personal touch was apparent from the moment we arrived right up to day of departure. The location of Fitzpatrick Manhattan is ideal for accessing the various sights of New York and in some instances within easy walking distance. This is a hotel that sits comfortably with the larger hotels in the city but exceeds them when it comes to hospitality and comfort. The essence of excellent customer service. The Fitzpatrick Manhattan is a hotel you want to go back to. Our friends were right.
Truthfully, there were no issues to complain against.
Location, room, quality, cleanliness. Everything!
Perhaps I forgot what I did not like
Location and atmosphere
Poor value - WiFi charges, poorly appointed room (no water for example!!). A little attention to detail and it should be the ideal location
We were impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff at the front desk. The hotel had a small boutique like feel and was warm and charming. Location was great for our purposes. We were grateful for the easy and uncomplicated car valet system. The hotel lobby was clean and welcoming and our guest room was clean too. Upon arrival we had only one bathrobe (2 guests) and no water glasses in the bathroom. We never had to request these because they were brought to our door immediately after we checked in. Size of the double queen bedroom was larger than many we've stayed in. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was great. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.
The craziest toilet flushing system. Even with very small hands it was next to impossible to get a finger in between the toilet and the vanity in order to flush. It was inconvenient but managed to push a pen between the two to depress the flush handle. Also, entry into the room was difficult with the card system of waving it in front of the door panel. We were never given any instruction on how this system worked and it often took more than a few tries to position it correctly.
food in the bar
comfortable bed and excellent location
no lobby some staff could be friendlier
The location and the hotel staff
Having to pay for wifi although it is free in the lobby
