Peter and Walter are not only excellent hosts but they also provide you with accurate tips and suggestions for you stay at the Big Easy. If Peter highlights you a spot do not miss it. I am very obliged for their warm and charming style.

Probably I was the first Argentine to stay at 5 continents. Now they need to have an argentine (and also a.mexican , as my friend is from MX) flag to put it at the balcony. :-)

Service and breakfast was the best. The area was ok to walk around after dark.

Wi Fi needs to have a stronger signal. Emails work but when we tried to look at utube we kept losing the signal.

Wonderful, friendly and responsive host Peter, his wonderful dog, cozy house, tasty breakfast, home-like atmosphere, quiet area, although very close to the French Quarter. We spent here unforgettable three days and very grateful to Peter for his hospitality.

I really liked the room we got, it was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. Loved that we had a porch out of our bedroom that looked out to the street. We also enjoyed how that house was decorated for Mardi Gras. The breakfast was amazing every day. Sadly I didn't stay long enough to try all the different options. Peter is a wonderful cook and Walter is very knowledgable of the history of the city. Becky is great too! I enjoyed the soft jazz music playing over the radio during breakfast and sharing our experiences with all the other guests in the morning. It really felt like being home.

The hospitality of the Host (Walter) and Becky. Meeting travelers from other countries at the morning table. Staying in an old house, but with the modern comfort. Close to the French Quarter of New Orleans

    everything was fine

Everything! The staff & the people staying, like us, were so nice & diverse. It was a very nice suite & location; very comfortable. Free parking is hard to come by in New Orleans, so that was very nice. The location was close to the French Quarter & Snug Harbor. Also we felt safe in this location & at home.

We did like the breakfast, but felt like it should have been more plentiful.

Wonderful room--decor, porch, comfort, all superb. Marvelous breakfast, complete with hot options cooked to order and fresh fruit. Great opportunity to share experiences and recommendations with fellow guests. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of ideas for things to see and restaurants to try. Very nice sitting room with beautiful Christmas decorations.

    Can't think of a thing.

The breakfast was great and meeting other guests over a meal was enjoyable. The owners are friendly and attentive. The decor is very nice. Suggestions of local places to eat was great and the refrigerator in the room was stocked with cold beverages. An all day pass on the bus/streetcar made getting around easy, as the bed and breakfast is not very close to the entertainment district, but the bus stops on the nearby corner. We walked to many places as it felt safe in the area.

The flow from the shower has hardly any pressure, but this is to be expected of a house built in the 1930s. There is a sweet dog to greet you at the door and at breakfast, but if you don't like pets, you won't be happy here.
