Very comfortable beds Very close to SOU Friendly staff
On a very busy street, A bit of a distance from downtown Breakfast pretty lackluster
nice friendly staff close to theaters comfortable feel great bed nice layout
no pool use (out of season)
I think the photo implied a large outdoor swimming pool.
They offered a very good breakfast and this inn is in a good location, not too far from Lithia Park, a must see when traveling to Ashland!!
Air conditioner was louder than expected and we had some difficulty sleeping.
Room was very clean. Very nice quality bedding. Generous quantity of towels and wash cloths. Extremely comfortable mattress. Each bed had four pillows. Complimentary breakfast was a nice feature.
Clothes bar only about two feet long. Refrigerator door opened facing the wall making it very difficult to get into. Upholstered chair had large stain in the middle of the seat cushion.
The place was clean, quiet and well maintained. The room was spacious for a solo traveler. Complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day.
The room needs better lighting. The Keurig didn't work but was fixed immediately. The bureau was sufficient for one but I doubt it would work for a family. I came back to my room at 3:30pm one day and housekeeping hadn't finished. It was a little far from OSF theaters and I prefer to walk to the shows and not have to navigate Ashland downtown parking.
Very nice for the price; staff was pleasant, there's plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast spot next door. Quiet, clean, spacious room; comfortable bed and plenty of good pillows. Overall, better than "good," though not quite excellent.
A shuttle--even for a fee and reservations--for guests going into town for OSF, dinner, etc would be a plus, as would water-saving practices such as option to keep same towels/sheets for multiple-days' stay.
The staff, after some hesitation, gave us a different room after we objected to stay across of a garbage dumpster with lots of wasps and flies. The smell in the second room did not prevent us from sleeping, and in the morning we did not notice it any longer. Otherwise the bathroom was clean
The new room smelled from damp carpet with a hint of a cleaner. The shower allowed only about half the water to come out of the shower head, the rest came out at the tub. The refrigerator door opened the wrong way and also needed a deicing badly. The freezer section was only about half the intended size.
Clean, quiet, spacious room, good fridge and microwave, abundant towels and toiletry, well kept furnishing and carpet.
Breakfast but I do not expect any better from motel like this.
Pool was the reason I picked it and the pool was bad
our room was off the main hiway and very quiet. Nice frige in the room. Excellent coffee.
We had 2 queens; one was great the other was a hammock on one side. I had to pull out one of the bedside tables and didn't like all the dirt there. The free breakfast buffet could be better.
Location was great...not too far from downtown or freeway; right across the street from SOU.
more options at breakfast
The location is just a mile from the plays and so is just a short drive or even walkable. The both the day and night staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were on the backside of the motel so it was quiet.
The chest between the beds had to be moved to discover that the light fixture was not working because it was unplugged.
We had many motels to choose from but we were so glad Flagship Inn was our choice. It was only 3 minutes to the Shakespeare festival so it was easy to go back to our large comfortable room between the afternoon and evening performances.
We liked the pool, the proximity to places we needed to visit, and the friendliness of the staff.
Room a little small. No big deal.
I was especially pleased with the friendliness and amount of information the front desk employee offered.
It was a very nice place to stay...comfortable beds and bedding..large room...double sinks!! Close to town...cute shops and eateries....very pleased!
good place to stay for the money
There was nobody at the front desk when we arrived and had to wait outside for 10 minutes from someone to show up
Clean. Close enough to Shake. Fest. to walk. Quiet, even being on Siskiyou Blvd. Breakfst was fine. I'm a fan of waffles but there was a nice assortment to 'fill the tank'. We didn't have time for the pool, but I'm sure that is a real plus.
Not even worth mentioning but I would have liked a bit more ambience in keeping with the Shakespear aspect of Ashland. Not a big deal, as we noticed 'The Stratford Inn' has nothing special about either save the name.
An older motel style establishment, but evident upkeep and care.
A very loud A/C unit made it difficult to sleep on a warm Oregon evening.
responsive staff,central location
pool too close to the road, noisy
Good location and beds.
