Room is pretty small, there was a loveseat that turned out to be a single bed which was great (we didn't need it) but another chair would have been nice to have in the room for seating comfort
Location was central, free parking, free wifi, really helpful staff, nice TV. We even had a small fridge w/freezer in the room which was unexpected and a big plus for us.
Two skinny pillows I almost mistook for pamphlets. Toilet didn't flush all the way. No breakfast, saw no vending machines.
Clean and close by. Coffee pot and mini fridge. Do bring food & drink.
We came only for one night that we really enjoyed of. The stuff were very helpful and nice . We had hot water at the shower and nice coffee in the morning. The room was very clean and cozy, and the bed is very comfortable. We had a parking space one step out the door and it was great. Thanks so much ! We had a wonderful staying
Pillows are very thin. My mother had to put her jacket under the pillow to get enough support.
Inexpensive and well maintained. Centrally located in Port Angeles. The best impression was left by the guy at the check-in counter. He was extremely helpful with all our questions.
The front desk was so helpful. The room was comfortable and tidy.
Clean and comfortable. There was a slight problem with the heat - probably because the room had just been painted and updated. This can happen to any hotel in any price range. How an issue is dealt with is what really sets a business apart and The Flagstone handled everything very quickly and professionally. They could teach a few 5 stars a thing or two!
no bad experiences, Motel worked fine as planned.
The motel was clean, did not smell, had new carpets, convenient to restaurants and to the ferry. It was extremely economical at $40/night. All we wanted is an overnight stay close to the blackball ferry so we could make the 8:20am crossing. It was too long of a drive from Vancouver, Wa to get there that early.
Amber was amazingly patient with my son and I. She was very helpful with a place to go and relax after a busy day of driving!
Clean, location, fridge, reasonably quiet
Weird tv remote
Courteous and professional staff Clean and comfortable room and bed. Refer and microwave
Close to ferry, quiet
-Excellent host / check-in
Price, cleanliness, free WiFi, location, ease of registration, able to park next to room, ease of checkout.
Dealing with the owners is great. Some of the other staff may not know what is going on. Our old kingsize bed sucked but remember the place is under renovation. The upper level alley parking seems sketchy but if you took the same precautions you took at home you would be okay. Replace the curtain behind the front desk with a real door or at least a pocket sliding door. Kind of creepy to see movement be fore some one pops out
$46 canadian Off Season The new owners treated us like we were important even though it would have been easier to continue their renovations without us. Room was clean and fresh. Lots of hot water. I stayed in the summer for a $100 more which i guess is the going rate at that time. The owners were up front about the renos on this visit. In the summer they did tell me my room would have ventilation issues (hotter than Hades). Overall a good budget value. This part of Port Angeles has lots of neon signs, old school and I hope they keep them.
Lots of noise from the street early in the morning. Not much insulation from the units next door .
Do not let the out side appearance fool you, this is a nice. place.
You get what you pay for and this place was very inexpensive however the room was very clean, the front desk was VERY helpful, The shower was hot and the water pressure was wonderful.
It was good motel for me.
Close to the Ferry and very Nice folks. They even called us to make certain we were still coming when we were running a bit later than we anticipated.
location and staff very good
Walking distance to restaurants and harbor.
The value, helpful staff.
No hot tub or pool available.
The location was perfect for the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival.( There was no kitchen in our unit so could not answer that question.)
One might need to get used to the traffic sounds. Hwy 101 runs on both sides of the motel. Once we figured that out the noise seemed reasonable and we slept well.
Clean, good ice availability, friendly staff, pleasant lobby. Housekeeping services every day. Good parking. Easy walking distance to everything downtown. Great restaurant choices to walk to. Major grocery store minutes away on foot.
We had a very good time, we were treated well and it was clean and easy to get to. We would definitely go back.
