El Flatotel, situat al centre de Manhattan, és a menys de 10 minuts a peu de Central Park. Ofereix àpats mediterranis de qualitat al Moda Restaurant i Wi-Fi gratuïta. Les habitacions del Flatotel inclouen una nevera petita i TV amb servei per satèl·lit DirecTV. També disposen de reproductor de CD, caixa forta i estris per planxar. D'altra banda, hi ha cafetera, microones i suport per a iPod a petició. L'Sky Gym Fitness Center té vista sobre Nova York des del pis 46 del Flatotel i és gratuït per als clients. Als matins dels dies laborables, l'hotel també ofereix cafè i te gratuïtament al vestíbul. The location is the only thing likeable 1) There are bed bugs in the bed. My friends and I were itchy during our entire stay 2) There is no pay per view option on TV 3) The housekeeping apparently does not clean the room even if u leave the "please clean my room" signage 4) The shower head sprays water everywhere and is extremely uncomfortable without adjusting options 5) The water is hot in both hot and cold options. It burned our faces. I called the hotel staff twice on 2 separate days, a plumber was sent up the room and just told us to have the water running for a long time for the water to cool down. This is abnormal 6) There is no AC in elevator nor hallways, its so claustrophobic on the floors. If i could rate this hotel i would give it a 0

The location is prime! You are minutes away from everything. If you are used to staying or expecting The Hilton, then no, you wont like this hotel, but if you want a clean and safe place to stay, with an awesome location, and friendly staff, this will do you just fine! They also upgraded us to the room above what we payed for, as well as giving us a corner smoking room, which we had previously asked for. It's a very dark hotel, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The restaurant and bar is also really expensive, we tried not to use them.

Can't think of a thing. Noisy (there is a dumpster business operating from a garage across the street), uncomfortable furniture poorly arranged, restaurant closes at 10am for breakfast and you pay $12 for a bowl of oatmeal, slow/crowded elevators, no help with luggage, old tv, internet connection would not work in room, no ice machines, dim lighting everywhere (bring a flashlight), business center accessed only by long flight of stairs, found invalid charges on my bill (you can use the flashlight to read yours).

Very large spacious rooms. Clean. Great location. Elevators took forever. Staff somewhat confused at checking. Took 3 try's to get correct room I booked!

Very friendly staff, great location, amazing room for the price I requested a trundle bed at check-in but didn't get one until I called again the next day. Also, booked a 2-bedroom but only got a 1-bedroom.

Staff very friendly, fantastic location I didn't like that when went to have the continental breakfast the person says is free, which I don't believe that is free because it was expect that you pay for the service. So in my opnion I think would be better have a price which we would pay for the service anyway.

Location is good Only to elevators for 40+ floors! They are always busy. Prepare to long trips by stairway. Terrible.

I thought the room was very good at the hotel a good size and the room was always cleaned to a very good standard the only thing letting the standard of the room down was the tv it was very outdated. Most of the people in the hotel seemed very kind and helpful. For the price of the hotel I do not think paying for the wi fi is acceptable, I think this should be free for all guest and $15 for 24 hours is terrible. It was a shame that the television in the room was so old and had a poor picture on most channels i felt it really let the standard of the room down.

We first stayed at Flatotel in 2009 and will continue to do so when visiting NY again. Its location for theatre, many touristy activites, shopping and transport is very good. Room sizes are larger than most hotels in NY. Also you can choose kitchenettes. The uninviting foyer's walls are especially in need of repair. Two lifts will always be a concern in such a tall hotel during peak times. Manners and service of waiters, who expect a tip, at the complimentary breakfast needs definte attention.

From the moment we arrived in nyc, we were happy to catch a cab locally to the hotel (we rode subway to get uptown - Manhattan). We were greeted with a smile and very helpful service! We were in town for New Year's Eve to see the ball drop in Times Square. Obviously, it was going to be crowded, but the staff was helpful in letting us know what to do and what to avoid. The hotel was chic and stylish. The room was comfy and the heater worked (very important for East Coast winters)... And the hot water was soo pleasant after being out in the cold all day! I loved that each time we left, Times Square was just around the corner and that there wasn't much traffic in front of the entrance of the hotel (people walking). We had a ny Times paper delivered each morning. Checkout is at 11 am, but we still had the whole day to sightsee and the staff let us leave our luggage until we were ready to leave town, which was close to 5 pm (that was nice!!). I would defnitely recommend this place to family and friends! :) The one thing I did not like about the hotel was the continental breakfast. It just didn't taste good and seems stale.

We got upgraded to a 2 bed room suite on the 45th floor which was just amazing! The view is breathtaking! Highly recommend it if you are staying in the upper floors. The suite we had could have done with a bit of a makeover but all in all great value for money.

The location was excellent for nyc and especially ate Square The rooms need updating. And he sofa bed in my room needed throwing in the trash. The bathrooms needed cleaning and updating especially the poor shower.

Location and room concepts. Dirty carpet, Mold in shower. Black rubber on the bottom of the glass panel on the tub stained the wash cloth. The mold rubbed off on the wash cloth too. This is a simple thing to fix.

the consierge was great. Three of us were in the room. there were two cots in the living room and and a king bed in the bedroom. WE were informed when we booked the room it was a suite that would accomidate four with a living room area, having 2 cots in the living room did not meet our expectations. the carpet was badly soiled, there was no art work on the walls, the furniture in the living room was soiled and old.

The rooms do not look like the images shown on the booking.com website and we were disappointed, even after a room change. The experience was rescued by the excellent manner in which the manageress Chloe Finney handled the situation. She is an asset to Flatotel.

We received a room upgrade when we arrive, so instead of having a regular room we had an amazing suite. The room was also very clean and with all the services you can expect on a 4 star hotel. The hotel lobby design is not very comfortable or charming, and they also should take more care of the lobby and elevator area maintenance.

The location is just around midtown..... When we entered the lounge it was quite dark and the staff were not friendly.In addition to that it was not safe to stay there!!!
