Flatotel

Hotellet ligger fremragende i Midtown. Værelserne/suiterne var fremragende. Vores værelser var udsolgte og vi fik i stedet tilbudt 3 suiter til samme pris, med godt køkken hvor hele familien kunne samles. Personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt. De ting vi klagede over, blev straks bragt i orden. Alt rel. veludstyret og behageligt.

Foyeren var meget mørk og kedelig ligesom restauranten. Der var en del venten på elevatorerene.

Godt moderne hotel. Restauranten var lukket under mit ophold, men ellers var servicen god. Alle var meget flinke og hjælpsome. Gode store værelser, med dejligt badeværelse. Og så ligger hotellet meget centralt - tæt på Time Square og Central Park.

Location was good, staff in reception were helpful, peaceful in room didn't hear any other guests.

A bit on the expensive side based on the condition of the rooms. We had one of the suites which could have done with a bit of a makeover ! a bit tired looking. Booked the room on the internet for 3 persons my wife, 14 year old daughter and myself, lucky I phoned to enquire what type of sleeping arrangements there was for my daughter ! a couch ! On the plus side they did change my room to include a bed settee, but when I arrived I had to ask for bedding !! room was cold could not adjust the air conditioning, blowing cold air constantly. User guide for equipment in suite would be helpful to guests (air con, cooker, etc) Tv picture in living room not very good.

Excellent location in midtown Manhattan close to Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Also close to a subway station just a few blocks away with access to AirTrain and JFK airport.

Location. Clean modern spacious room and bathroom for a city hotel. Courteous bell svc staff.

Very ordinary borderline disappointing food - I ordered 1 breakfast (omelette) and 1 dinner (soup and salad). Recommend eating out. Reception area/hotel entrance dark not very inviting.

Upgrade that i recieved

Room size was excellent, and the bathroom was large as well. The bathroom is separated from the sleeping area, which is nice.

The location was excellent. Between central park and times square. However the room was not quite what we expected by watching the foto's. Rooms were not soundproof, everything that happened on the hallway was loud and clear in the room. Every door that slammed closed was really annoing during the night. Lobby was dark and hadn't been

Every door that slammed closed was really annoing during the night. Lobby was dark and hadn't been renovated by ages... Bathrooms are old and dirty. Also the door personnel was rude! Most of the time no one opened the door for us, and when we left the only thing he did was putting our bags in the taxi. We payed 5 dollars tip, and were thanked by a (what? is this it? kinda attitude). We will never go back to this hotel.

My mum and dad had contacted the Chef Concierge Gregory prior to our stay who they found to be extremely helpful and even upgraded our room when discovering that this was my last trip with my girlfriend before a 6 month deployment with the Navy which made our trip even more special! Overall the staff were very friendly and our room was always left spotless by the maids on return from a busy day sight seeing. Our room also had excellent views and we were pleased to find Times Square and the 5th Avenue shops were only a short stroll away.

The size of the room and bathroom were were much larger than expected and the facilities were great. Late check out was great due to late flight and considering central locality it was not noisy in the room.

The location was great! Walking distance of great things. In the heart if the city.
