The rooms were modern and had every convenience needed. The hotel staff were very helpful especially concierge services. The room was a bit smaller than an normal hotel room but large for NYC. It was modern and updated. It felt very European. We would stay there again! Great Manhattan location. It could use a fresh coat of paint inside. |

Location, location, location. It is in the middle of everything. Within walking distance of Broadway, fifth ave, Colombus Circle, central park. Near great restaurants, buses and subway. Room has microwave and small fridge. Elevators were fast and high floors are quiet. Bed comfortable. Food was not great but not terrible. The un-renovated rooms are darker, and old fixtures leak and make noise but newer rooms are spacious and practical. |

The room was large and the hotel was located in a great, central location. Easy to get in and out of the city from this location. The hotel is very dated. The room appeared to have never been remodeled. The blinds were broken, the bathroom door didn't close, there was no cold water (go figure), the elevator was under repair. |

The staff was really nice, room was large and comfortable. Loved the big window over the bathtub overlooking Manhattan from the 23rd floor! Free internet connection in room w/ ethernet cable, free internet access and printer in business center. Ironing facilities in-room a plus! Hotel was very convenient to Times Square, - just far enough away to avoid the bustle and noise, but close enough to walk comfortably. |

Pleasant and competent staff. Great location. Strange and outdated shower/tub. Stairways were unpleasantly dingy and dirty. |

Great location! Room was really big, considering new york standards. They claim to have a "state of the art" gym. What a joke! Go workout at Gold's, 5 blocks away. Very easy to get around. |

The location was good, nothing else. The photos on the website are very misleading. The room was shabby and soiled. Telephone did not work, lamps broken, icemaker broken, tub did not drain, sofa ripped on both ends. All and all very uncomfortable.Had I not prepaid, I would have found another hotel on the first day. I would not book thru booking.com again. |

The staff were very friendly, free internet was really free, location was ideal for walking to/from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, 34th Street and Central Park. Microwave and tv were both fairly new. I am from NYC and enjoyed our little weekend stay in the City. |

Excellent location! Excellent value compared to the other hotels in the area. Nyc is expensive and this was a bargain! Room was comfortable. Elevators are slow! There are only two for the whole hotel. |

This was a great location. Nice hotel. Sort of a European flavor. Great Hotel bar/lobby. A lively place and I would stay there again Considering this was a nice hotel, I was surprised that the carpets were dirty, and had water spots all over the place. We were in room 1807. I think some painting had been done in the bathroom, and there were spots of paint all over the floor. The "finish" on the room was sloppy, as though the people who painted the room could have cared less. The back of the bathroom door was peeling at the bottom |

close to Time Square The service. One of the bell boy, the attitude is pretty bad and rude. He broke one of my friend's Y-3 luggage. I understand NYC is a pretty stressed city but at least he could smile and say sorry. The hotel needs to train their staffs well, maybe have a morning conference or gatherings with their staffs to boost their moral. Be more polite or more positive. We all sometimes can have a bad day, but since you are in the service line, you should always stay polite. |

Location was good, staff in reception were helpful, peaceful in room didn't hear any other guests. A bit on the expensive side based on the condition of the rooms. We had one of the suites which could have done with a bit of a makeover ! a bit tired looking. Booked the room on the internet for 3 persons my wife, 14 year old daughter and myself, lucky I phoned to enquire what type of sleeping arrangements there was for my daughter ! a couch ! On the plus side they did change my room to include a bed settee, but when I arrived I had to ask for bedding !! room was cold could not adjust the air conditioning, blowing cold air constantly. User guide for equipment in suite would be helpful to guests (air con, cooker, etc) Tv picture in living room not very good. |
