Floridays Resort Orlando  

If you are looking for a good value and don't mind be away from the Orlando action and can deal with lots of traffic Floridays is a good value for the money. Rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms have a sizeable safe, I was able to store a 17 inch laptop.

The resort is built in the middle of no where, in a cow pasture. They don't even have a road in to the main entrance. Traffic in the surrounding area is very heavy. The resort fee is absurd. You get nothing for the $12.00 per day they charge, except internet access. The business center charges a fortune for access and printing. The hotel staff didn't refresh the room until 5:00-6:00 pm in the evening, right when we were getting ready to get cleaned up and head out for the evening. The hotel staff does not replensh supplies like papertowels in the kitchen or toilet tissue in the bathrooms. The pool is average. There is not enough seating for hotel guests. There are no life guards on duty. We ended up having a group of young men wanting to play a game of spike football in the main pool. No other guests could use the pool because it was too dangerous and rough. This went on for several hours. The pool also closed at 10:00 pm. It would have been great if it had been open longer so when you came back from the parks, you could cool off. The combination retail store an counter service snack bar/restaurant were poor. Overall, you are paying for a nice room but the resort had no other ameneties or programs, especially for kids. Generally Orlando hotels offer some type of entertainment of the kids, Floriday's offerred nothing.

The suites were spacious 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms suited a family of 6 not usually available.

Attention to detail was lacking. A pre- room check before guests arrive would be beneficial as over first 2 days I had to ask for a corkscrew;tea towels;oven gloves; and for 4 light bulbs to be changed because they had burnt out leaving room very dark. Also a number of days we were not left enough clean towels despite asking for 6 on the first day.

Excellent service. We loved the spa in the bathroom.Perfect for self catering holiday as you have facilities.

Hidden costs for example resort fee which is not optional- this should be included in the price not added after. Also there is a charge for using the computers on site. Perfect for self catering holiday but if you are not going to use the self catering facilities there are other decent hotels which we stayed at and cheaper with free use of internet and no resort fees eg Comfort suites universal studios area (excellent).

We loved this resort. It was a little daunting trying to decide on where to stay in Orlando. But this resort met all our needs. We were close to both Disney & SeaWorld. The 3 bedroom condo was fabulous for our large family. The amenities were just right, without being too vast and large. The pool area, games area, adult area and cafe made our whole stay fun and easy. The Saturday live band poolside was a huge bonus. So fun! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the pool area! The pool temperature was great. When requesting towels the service was within acceptable limits. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. Consierge was very helpful

Our first night we arrived late and we decided to order room service. When our order came we did not receive half of the food that we ordered and when we called to let the person know who took our order he said "well the kitchen is closed now." This was not a good start. Shuttles should be more frequent. At least one returning to the resort earlier than 7:15pm (too late with small kids).

The location and the pool area but thats it there is nothing else offered..

Floridays advertisement with yourslves is highly deceiving . They charge $12 a day for refresh , this is to simply put clean towels in your room and then a furter $40 per day which they say is for a full service. They do not have housekeeping supervised so no one actually bothers to clean despite the fact that we are charged for it . I complained to the GEneral manager and the President of the Group. Despite their attempts the cleaning was atrocious. I do not recommend this hotel if you are accustomed to living in a clean emvironment .

Very nice roomstwo bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice living room with a fine kitchen and washing machine with turbo dryer. Nice location in the quiet end of International Drive. Reallly a great pleasure to stay at f r O.

Very good for the prize, and the sizes of the suite, I like the laundry room and kitchen. Also like how the rooms are set up.

Very good Hotel, but there is no access to the Pool from the inside the Hotel, you have to go around to get to the Pool. Also the hotel towels are really old and used up, needs new towels

We rented a 3 bedroom suite which was wonderful. My family enjoyed the hotel greatly. The staff at Floridays responded to all of our needs within minutes of a call and the concierge was more than helpful with directions, tickets, shuttles and coupons. Nothing was missed by their team which made our stay away from home even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here as it is not only affordable but well worth the trip. All hotels should be like this!

Is a family hotel you have 3 bedroom, kitchen, living, laundry, 2 bathroom. Excelent for 6 - 8 pax.

Good location to visit Disney world & Universal parks. Also could walk to Outlet shopping & supermarket. Lovely pool area. Great room set up for family, 2 bathrooms, free wi-fi.

Could have had additional shuttles to theme parks - but still good

Excellent location close to main attractions (Disney, Universal, Sea World) and Premium Outlet Mall. The pool was great and suitable for kids as well. The 3 bedroom apartment was awesome and suited us extremely well, as we were traveling 4 adults and 2 kids.
