The staff is relatively quiet and keeps out of everyone's way. This seems to be more of a policy of the buisiness than an indication of their personality. That is kind of a dislike for me personally since I like to chat with people about local things to do and see, and get a vibe for the area. It would be great if they were a bit more engaging with the guests.
The location was great, and the (included) breakfast was fantastic!
My friends and I chose this location because of its proximity to Lake Sunapee and Mt Sunapee (both about 15-20 min away. It also happens to be about 5 minutes away from a great local brewery - The Flying Goose Pub, which is a popular post-skiing watering hole.
The house was built in the early 1800's and is enormous, with multiple levels to explore and lots of interesting things to check out.
Their breakfast was amazing. I was expecting a continental breakfast, and instead woke up to Home cooked cheese blintzes, poached eggs, yogurt parfait and more, along with bottomless coffee. It was pretty amazing.
