Unlike other B&B's we have stayed at, breakfast here was served in your room, excellent food, but we missed the community aspect of talking to other couples staying at the house in the morning.
The wifi is really only available in the community room.
Our recent trip (early Oct 2014): Gus and Doris, the innkeepers, have lived in Calistoga many years and are a font of information regarding the wineries to visit, restaurants, and attractions (ie. which ones to go to, which ones to avoid-so many to choose from so little time).
The house was very comfortable, the rooms very clean and comfortable, a quiet retreat after a long day of wine tasting and traveling around (95 degree days). The breakfasts were very hearty, and served in your room, Doris is a trained chief. Since the house was just north of the main road in Calistoga, there was not a lot of traffic. A great place to stay if touring the North end of the Napa valley, Calsitoga, St, Helena. Gus knows many of the people at the wineries and was able to call and get personal tours for the couples at the house.
