Score from 51 reviews Very good
tv did not work; no cover over electrical unit in bathroom; phone did not work; ladders and stepping down handle are loose; hair dryer did not work
beds were firm front desk personnel were friendly
room smelled, pool area had couches that people apparently spent night in as they were still there, room was clean but areas in need of desperate repair, no breakfast
The cleanliness, lighting, smell, furniture dumped in atrium, mismatched furniture, stains in bathroom, and no pillows provided were just to name a few of our dislikes. We won't ever return.
Great pool, but needs some sprucing up. The front desk associates were very friendly and kind.
It was obviously a hotel in financial distress. Had to ask multiple times just to get towels, both in the rooms and at the pool. Looked like it once had a lovely breakfast area and bar, but both appeared to have been closed down a long time ago. Too bad.
Good location right off the interstate. Also, very close to the places I was going to so less drive time is always a plus.
I heard a few different pet dogs that were there during the night so those were sounds I wasn't really ready for, but if they were a pet friendly place I was unaware.
the ability to checkout after one night.
it was worst hotel we've ever stayed in. scary to even spend one night there.
Overall maintenance of hotel was poor. Carpets were old. No pillows, just decorative pillows with no pillow cases. No TV channel list provided and TV did not display channel on screen. Window did not lock. Heating/cooling unit was loose from the wall but worked.
--Rooms smelled badly.Former smoking room sprayed with some chemical to mask awful smell. Note to ownership. Doesn't work. --Filthy rooms, filthy corridors filthy lobby. --Bar, grill advertised as open and operating. Place has been closed for months. --Do not stay here. Bar, grill featured on Website. False claim. Bar, grill closed for months. Through the window looked dusty and dirty.
Nothing. Should be removed from this website.
Upon check in, room hadn't been vacuumed, no toilet paper, someone elses food in fridge. Drapes falling down, place was so empty it felt abandoned. Hotel being held together with spackle. Surprised it hasn't been torn down. Bugs on floor in lobby - alive and dead.
The smell of old cigs and pool chemicals
Everything wallpaper falling off the walls. Stain on sheets might be from a previouse homicide
It was cute that housekeeping had folded the towels into origami qnd that the owners put new appliances in the room. I think it's under new ownership, and that's probably a great thing for the future. we didn't go to the indoor pool, but there is one!
The room was rundown and in need of a deep cleaning and repairs. while the bed was very comfortable, the blankets were torn and burned. the bath towels were the size of hand towels.
The redponsible lady when checking out was really efficient.
All the rest was horrible.
Rooms are run down
It was listed as a Ramada Inn, it no longer is ! My wife had I both had to show picture id. Unfortunately hers was in suitcase!! We've never had to show 2 ID's at any motel !! Room had no towels, no toilet paper. Spider webs in bathroom. Air conditioner had some sort of mold in it, that was irritating to breath
rough place to stay. for working people.
Not kept up very well, rooms smelled.
I woke up to hear up my sins milk I. The middle of the night and had a cockroach on my shorts from just getting out of bed. There was also another cockroach inside the microwave. The entire room was nasty, hadn't been cleaned right in a very long time only reason I stay was because I couldn't get a refund on that nasty room.
Staff was very friendly
No wifi and the hot tub did not work, pool water was very dirty and I had to go buy a bath mat to put in the bathroom as the showers were horrible. The water was a little bipolar and I was scalded one minute then frozen the next.
Nothing much except Wifi was good, tv old but functioned and Fridge worked. Front desk was basic but check in was easy enough, there were soft drink fridges and some snacks available in lobby.
Room was falling apart, carpet was Filthy dirty - Stank of ages of smoke, many cigarette burns, carpet skirting falling off the wall. Mattress box was sitting on the floor as the bed frame was broken and stored in corner of the room, (repaired while I was there) leaving a staple nail in carpet which I stuck my foot on drawing blood causing a health concern. Curtains and Nets stale with smoke and windows filthy - a/c ancient and noisy - Cockroach dropped on my head during the night, Spiders in sink area and bathroom - Hair strands, not mine were on the underside of two pillows - light bulbs missing / not working - 2 out of 4 days the room was not cleaned or made up - Bathroom ceiling plaster falling off. Adjoining rooms like a football stadium turnstile many visitors through the night. Lucky as I was out with friends each day and didn't have to spend much time in the room. Cheap room but nothing like the photo reviews for the hotel, what we would term in Europe as a flee pit.
Cheap prices, a nice looking pool, nice looking rooms,
The wall paper was falling off the walls neer the bed. Not enough outlets by the night stand
The staff was rude and unhelpful The rooms are dirty and outdated The service was terrbile The bed linens smelled The facility is run down, in need or many repairs. The pool area was questionable at best.
The staff was friendly and courteous.
I didn't like the room because housekeeping didn't clean the room like they should have. The bathroom and the bathroom sink was dirty even the towels were dirty and wet. Also I booked a smoking room but I didn't get it. I settled for a non smoking room.
Had limited alternative since booked late and said to myself lets try it since it is cheap and how bad can it be? Well, bad idea - absolutely horrible. Next morning checking out balconies I realize they have alot/mostly long time stayers who live there with beer cans and dogs on every other balcony.
The room wasn't bad, however the entire hotel needs a lot a couple million invested in it clearly.
The floors in downtown Los Angeles seem to be cleaner. The staff was actually nice but seemed like the lived there which I wouldn't put it passed them. No place for a family for kids.
