The location was perfect. We loved the view from our balcony
We were unable to enjoy the pool because of a very loud event.
The View and location of the hotel was amazing! right across from the cruise port! the room was so nice and I especially enjoyed the shower! the water came out of the ceiling! very impressed. pillows and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious!
As we arrived on a Saturday night we waited 15 minutes in line to check-in. (first strike)... after we got ready we went to the G-Bar on premises where we waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, while the spot at the bar was dirty from the previous guest. The bartender gave us menus, didn't offer a drink or wipe down the bar. another 5 minutes went by I asked the other staff about the menu and he just walked away. after about 20 minutes I finally got a chardonnay and when we ordered, we had lunch menus. he took the lunch menus & they couldn't find any dinner menus. I then just asked for the check and we left. I didn't even enjoy my wine. (Strike two) so we tried the other Asian restaurant on premises. This time the staff was nice, however I did not like the food. The next morning we tried the breakfast buffet. it was slightly overpriced but the food was great! our server once again was very rude. I asked a question about their bloody Mary's and he answered while walking away. then never offered or asked me if I would like one. If he had just asked me I might have had 3 drinks. instead I had water. his tip suffered. This is the service industry! come on! The whole stay, there was one person who was actually nice- the hostess at the breakfast buffet! that's it!
Too far from the beach
Stayed there for 2 nights prior to a cruise. Location was great and most staff were friendly. A couple at reception were not the most helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Price was high for what it was but think that had a lot to do with dates of travel.
The Cruise Shuttle was $6pp - a lot of other hotels further away were free. And we asked about a taxi/walking and advised shuttle was best - found out after a taxi would of been $5 and direct (not via 3 other cruiseships) so between 3 of us much better!
The room and view was excellent but only after we complained and paid for an upgrade of the already pricey room.
The room was descrided to have "view over intercoastal waterway". In reallity it meant looking straight into the side of a yacht totally blocking all sunlight. They charged extra for everything, including parking, WiFi, storage of baggage, etc! Almost every other hotel we´ve stayed at had complimentary WiFi, but not Hilton. Finally, they had overcharged us with over 100 usd, and even after admitting their mistake, they never apologized.
Water taxi right in front.Shuttle to the beach every 2 hours is free.If you do not want to wait pay $12 and get to the beach on your time.Rooms in the back on the marina.Beautiful pool with a restaurant and lots of comfortable loungers.
Having to pay for Wi Fi also buffet breakfast Cold!!!
I paid for the hotel on booking.com then when I got to the hotel the asked for a credit card for incedentals like all hotels do, later two days after I left I found out that they charged me again for the room and said they would refund it cause I had already checked out
The staff here is exceptional. The bed terrific. The room is spacious and the location is nice. Each Hilton I've stayed at is generally good in a plain way; a good value for your money. But you never know what you're going to get at each one.
The room could use a little touching up but was good overall. The bathroom door, which is spring loaded, squeaked loudly and was annoying. The view from the 3rd floor was all palm tree fronds, and there was a piece of broken glass on the carpet.
Bed was comfortable and place was clean. Nice views
Of course you expect food at the Hilton to be a bit expensive, that is fine if you get a decent meal. Ordered breakfast to my room, was not great at all, would have been better from McDonalds. Did not like that you had to pay for parking.
The hotel is great but beware of the rooms facing the bridge or as thet say the view to the cruise ships. If your on the first ten floors prefer the other side.
The view of marina
Smell of mold in bathroom after flood from above in 2nd room thermostat wasn't working breakfest vouchers recieived at 9am, after our breakfest finally doubled charged to visa
The trip that we took to Maimi from the hotel, person took 20% as tip himself. I was suppressed. If I new I would change my mind. The tip needs to be optional.
This hotel is in urgent need of a refurbishment. It is looking tired and a bit scruffy
The location was perfect for us as we were going on a cruise. The room was clean and comfortable.
The late check in was disappointing. Inconsiderate guests partied well into to early hours in the room below us.
I stayed at this hotel to exhibit at the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show so the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are not luxurious but comfortable. It was great being on the Intercoastal and watching the boats go by.
The food was ok but way overpriced. The breakfast buffet was $22/person and not at all worth it. The drinks were also very expensive, which was too bad because it was fun to sit at the pool bar and relax after a long day at the Show. Also the music playing outside the lobby was so loud I couldn't have a conversation.
We like the simplicity of the rooms, big showers and view . As well as the location.
We have stayed at the hilton three times in the last month and everytime- there is a problem with the parking entrance. Even though we reported it each time. The hotel cards never work when you try to swipe them- so there is always a hold up when leaving or entering the parking area. And when you ring the help button-there isn't an immediate response either. We even had to get out of our car and walk up to the door to get someone to help let us out- when we were urgently trying to get to the airport one morning at 6 am.
Great location & amenities. I was concerned having read the reviews that the hotel would be in poor condition but the room we had was excellent. We stayed in the tower building in an inter-coastal view room. The staff were very helpful and the hotel clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great position for access to the port and airport. All in all I could not fault this hotel.
The cost of food on site very expensive.
great location for boat show
Very noisy vent system in room. Expensive car park. Generally all looking a bit tired.
The hassle getting a transfer to the port
The environment was very nice. The staff was extremly helpful.
The rooms are not sound proof. You can her when the guest in the other room talk and move around.
Bed and linens comfortable The view The pool area just the best...if the sun is shining..pool cool...
Basically grotty...dirty glass on dressers...walls dirty ..bathtub grouting mildew..
