Chris Morano sought out places for us, contacted our ongoing sites to ensure we were looked after elsewhere - we were blown away by his helpfulness and professionalism - more like we were staying at a grand hotel in New York than in regional CA!
The blinds on the windows hung a little crooked
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean too. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
The rooms are comfortable and for that price range the nicest place we have stayed in Santa Rosa. We will always stay here when we can't make it all the way home to Mendocino after long trips.
Very comfortable accommodations and close to downtown. Beautiful restaurant on property. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.
Room was quiet, with a lovely walled garden outside the floor-to-ceiling window. Easy access to highway. Blanket already in closet to substitute for the duvet. Temp controls easy to understand and operate. Ample parking.
No hotel guidebook in the room. Would have been nice to find terrycloth slippers in the closet.
nice beds and linen
slightly tired appearance, needs once over to fix and repair small things, like missing clothes hooks, torn drapes,
The staff here are very courteous, professional and helpful. Andrea at the front desk is an asset to the hotel. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area and makes you feel so welcome everytime you walk by.
Not keen on the suites being in a separate building.
I love the location, decor, staff and ammenities!
I LOVED everything. All staff was super nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and return to Fountaingrove Inn on my next trip to CA.
Wifi was poor. Constantly kicked off with long lengths of time before you could get back on.
Room was very nice and quiet and the property was convenient to shopping and interstate. I was pleased to get such a good rate since rates for lodging at less desirable properties was about the same.
staff.location and quality
Good location outside/away from the Santa Rosa city center, especially destinations north and west with easy access into the City proper. We stayed here when the hotel first opened, return regularly, and see very little difference in terms of upkeep, cleanliness, etc.
No in-room microwave. Parking can be problematic in evening (when restaurant is busy).
The staff was helpful, the room was clean. We upgraded to a suite and the room was large.
The Wi-Fi was pretty non-existant
The concierge upgraded our room at no charge, the room was elegant and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the restaurant was exceptional. I'd definitely go back.
staff,cleanliness, location to our event
The facility is very fresh and new for its age. Looks freshly updated with nice furnishings and embellishments. Very convenient to wineries and restaurants. I'll definitely stay there my next trip.
Incredible Staff: They scheduled all my funny wine trips without costs, they sent me an Ipad that i forgot on the room. Always polite and helpful. Incredible amenities: Seemed like a luxury hotel , huge rooms, frigobar, great bed, great bed sheet, no smoking smell.
Efficient front desk.the restaurant was very good. Only stayed overnight but will recommend it highly
Too few power outlet for charging phones, iPads ; Swimming poor is nicely heated however, it is quite small, & no extra pool towels available
Cleanliness--had to exchange sheets because there was someone's old itinerary in the bed! Had trouble getting sheets then had to make our own bed -- not good.
Hospitality, quiet room, good restaurant.
No problems to report.
We loved the service. Everyone that worked there from the front desk to the housekeeping were exceptionally gracious and helpful. Very impressive! Room service was prompt and kind. Their breakfast and food by Equus is fantastic.
The room we got by the back door on the building to the left was back to back with the house keeping laundry (oodles of running washers and dryers). It was super loud, but lulled us to sleep. I could see how people would be very annoyed by that.
Staff very pleasant, junior suite gave us plenty of room and restaurant food good.
No elevator so had to haul luggage up hill or up stairs.
the heat and the air conditioning, the first day the room was cold and the maintenance man was great and fixed it so we had heat but then the next few days the room was really hot, no way of regulating the heat. Another maintenance man came and flipped it back to cold. The room did not seem to have a working dual climate heating system
Nicely appointed, spacious accommodation
Chaos at breakfast, uncomfortable pillows
