Everything the view the location the mall wasn't to far away. It was just a great stay.
I wanted to stay longer.
Free breakfast. This is a huge plus.
Location Facilities Breakfast Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Roscoe was especially helpful. We were so impressed with the facilities that we may reserve a block of rooms for my daughter's graduation from North Carolina Central University's December 2014 graduation.
My 2nd stay at a Marriott hotel in the Triangle. 1. No exhaust fan in the bathroom nor operable windows. The unit stinks indefinitely. This the 2nd Marriott we have stayed in at the triangle with the same problem. 2. A apparently no front desk staff at 2 am and no bell.
We were informed about the wrong breakfast time did not hurry the stay but it upset us alot
The hotel is located right at most of the best shopping and restaurants.
The hotel is going through a transition and are currently independently owned. They are not SouthPoint or Sheraton. They seemed confused about many things I asked them and didn't realized I had booked through Booking.com . One person at the desk, told me they did not accept Booking.com customers. There is a disconnect between what is offered and what you actually receive. There is no fridge, no cups for the mini sort of coffee maker, no micro wave oven, no cleaning actually going on since a bag of trash was left outside my hallway area that stated until the next afternoon. They very odd man pushing the vacuum insisted he come into my room and starred at me like a crazed coocoo bird saying, "oh, there are two of you?" And let's not forget all the banging from the construction that is being done inside the hotel and over my head all morning to change them to a Marriott. There is also no breakfast unless you count the styrofoam cups for the coffee in thermos containers and tiny mini muffins with tiny boxes of cereal and milk. They were nice a while ago and may be a nice hotel again one day, but for now.....let the construction finish !!!
close to chapel hill - we were there for the game
hotel hasn't any name on it. You can tell it was in a state of disrepair
Its proximity to Southpoint. After my wife and I checked into room "121," the room did not look clean/fresh. It appeared as though someone sat on the bed and that the pillow cases were not laundered and the carpet was stained. Additionally, the room number was missing and we mistook "it" for a closet until we realized that that was the room...minus the nuibmer outside of the door. We reported our concerns to the day manager on duty on duty, and to his credit/initiative, corrected a bad situation by putting us in a larger king-size room for the same amount. I don't recall his name but check your duty roster because he should be commended.
Although the facility seems reasonably young, the interior is tired looking. But I believe it's because of the constant foot traffic that overtime, wears things down naturally.
The carpets in the room were stained badly.
