The Hotel is very nice and very clean. They have a nice sized pool and weight room. The beds are very comfortable. They have plenty of channels on the TV, but its LA, you really shouldn't be staying in the hotel all that much.
The only gripe I have is about the parking. Goodness gracious. 20/day!!! You can park at one of airport parking garages for a little less or even on the street for free. I mean you are paying for a room for 100 or more a night. The least they could do is let you park for free. I'm just saying.
Great location for LAX
Good place to stay, if you want to visit Manhattan beach area. Closeby is Marriot, with starbucks and other restaurants.
Room not too clean someone's toenail clippings on floor still. Biscuits piece from previous guest still on desk
Close to the airport. Bar serves many foreign beers, but the food is so and so.
Rooms really need freshening up.
Comfortable bed and a decent attempt to be a nice hotel
Dated building and it's beginning to show its age pretty badly in the room and restroom. Dated shower that's just old. Price and room don't match up you are pretty much paying for the location.
wait shuttle bus for almost 40mins, it didn't come
Free Wii Fi in the room- Ease of check in and check out- Free shuttle service to the airport.
Bar and food were great.
Room was small.
towel service friendly staff housekeeping
The parking was a madhouse. Expect that parking will be a little bit of a hassle after 10pm. However, we were told that they never over-sale parking and should we not be able to find a spot, they could direct us to the additional parking.. It didn't come to this but it sure was too close for it to be okay!
close to the airport
far from the city
You can see the cleanliness of the place.
good place, nice staff, reasoenable prices
nothing so far
Food is not so great and Prices are rather high
I liked the room overall, the layout was great!
I would of liked easier parking.
The manager /,staff was customer servicedriven
I loved the location, it was easy for me to navigate around Los Angeles.
At check in they didn't have a room ready, so at 1 am I had to wait about 20 mins with my small children in tow after traveling for 8 consecutive hours. At check out the employee was very rude and said she needed another credit card because the one file was declined, come to find out the employee at check out held double the required deposit. Next time I will pay the extra money and stay at Embassy Suites
Good location, friendly staff, value for money, clean room
Proximity, airport shuttle, staff, price and facilities.
Can be noisy at times depending on your room location.
Great stop over and place to rest after a long International flight,
It was very convenient to the airport and a clean and quiet room. The food and service in the restaurant was first rate.
The staff is stellar. I was waiting in the lobby for a friend to arrive. A man came and set is little dog on the check in counter as he asked to stay one additional night. (They have a small block of rooms that accommodate animals. Even VIP's stay in these rooms if they have an animal.) After the man left the counter, I was the clerk wait a few moments to be sure the man was out of site and then he washed down the counter. I was impressed with both the consideration to the man with the dog (to do this out of his site) and the consideration to other guests (as dogs leave hair everywhere) The beds were very comfortable. We left a wake up call and the phone rang on time. In addition a man came and pounded (and I mean pounded!) on the door yelling "this is a wake up call". But since you are asleep or just waking up it is SCARY! We couldn't understand what he was saying and I thought someone was trying to break into our room. I lept out of bed and yelled "you have the wrong room!" thinking he was calling for .... someone. Then I could hear what he was saying. I guess this falls under good things because, believe me, you are not going to sleep through your wake up call. I chose this hotel because it was a Sheraton. It wasn't as fancy as they usually are. It is very close to the airport and it was a good place to stay for the purpose. We were three people, so the price was great compared to the other hotels in the area.
The restaurant is more fine dining than a casual café. A steak was $30 and a club sandwich was $17. The meals looked nice and were tasty. the room was crazy small, with a bathroom you couldn't turn around in. It appears to have been a motel from the 60's with the rooms to the outside, but then made a hallway along the doors to make it a hotel with doors that do not open to a street. So think of those tiny motel rooms and there you have it. self parking was $19. it isn't very far. just around the side of the hotel, up a slight incline. The parking spaces are very narrow so if you are getting luggage out of the backseat, you want to do that before you pull in.
I can ask for late check out easily without debate since i have early flight on the next day so i just leave my luggage on their storage room and still can using their 24hrs free shuttle to airport
The furniture looks very old and also the building it self even though they can manage the cleanliness very old plus the lady staff at coffee bar was really unfriendly
I liked the late check in option, especially since me and my friend took the train down, we didnt even arrive in LA until after 10 pm to begin with. The food in the Bar was also really good!
location and staff
no coffee shop
