tiny room, no microwave, no refrigerator, no free breakfast
close proximity to Metro 7 line
We feelt us not all times welcomed there - some of the Staff is moody. They charge $50 as a Deposit and not care about, if you paid all before the whole Amount.
Close to the Subway The room was clean and well illuminated Bed very comfy
It don't have wine or beer opener
Rapid Money refund process
Sheer curtain ... :(
Really comfortable bed! Loved it :) Clean and warm staff.
As much as I love the free Wi-Fi I wish it had a sign in to it so it can be more secure. And maybe free breakfast would be nice too.
I love this hotel, the staff was amazing and the hotel was gorgeous.I love that there is free wi-fi. The staff at the cafe was also really nice. I had a great trip.
Hotel was nice but a few things bothered me 1. We requested top floor and they have us the 2nd floor instead 2. They charged us a extra 50 dollars just in case we damaged the room. If you don't have a credit card then it's 100 3. The room was very cold with heat Overall it was a okay hotel
Somewhat odd plumbing that we couldn't figure out. No apparent way to regulate the flow. Sink faucet and shower was either hot with a very strong flow or cold with a moderate flow. Nothing in-between.
The location was great for our purposes. Our daughter lives in Astoria which is a healthy walk from the hotel but also convenient to the N and Q lines on the MTA. Not many restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, but Astoria is a foodie paradise. Hotel room was quiet and clean.
The first day we received a dirty room (bottles and towels on the floor), so I asked for a new room. The second one seemed to be clean, but at night we found bloodstains and hair in the bedclothes. We left a message the second day but nothing happened: after the second message (the third day of our stay) the bedclothes were changed. Also, I spent 1000 dollars for 4 days but breakfast was not included. The price we booked was different from that we payed: they do not include taxes so you are gonna receive a bad surprise
Close to subway
The loud from the other rooms, maybe because the room have a common door to make connection with the other room. From the first moment I put note to pay the bill at final with cash, the day of the check out they was ready charged my credit card, even when they know I going to pay in cash at the end of my stay.
The guy working overnight is not the friendly with guests.... He just seems he is working at a parking lot.... Not a hotel... Shame to be a four points staff.... Instead the lady during the day.... She is the sweetest girl.... Just the way it should be
Nothing to mention
Staff is very helpful, especially Alexandra. The room service staff did a good job
My stay was very enjoyable. Thank goodness there is a restaurant/bar in the lobby.
I've been to Sheraton's in many parts of the world. First, the incompetent staff: They couldn't find my membership, which was annoying. And they gave me the worst room possible when the hotel was plainly empty on my check-in. Second, the room: It was noisy, not because of the streets, but because the walls were so thin I could hear everything from elevators and pipes running, and the various activities of dwellers in the rooms next to me. No tub, a standing shower. Cheap furniture, lopsided bed. There was draft coming beneath the heater as it was never glued properly. Third, the location: In the middle of nowhere, subway station is far. I am very familiar with lic, and the nearby Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, Best Western do much better for a cheaper rate.
Read what I didn't like
This is good place away from Manhattan and is 2 mins walk away from the subway. My only issue was the location, although just 20 mins from Times Sq but the area is completely dead and doesn't look like NYC at all. The prices are a little high and I suggest booking this hotel only if you get a very good deal.
Barmaid was a little rude, but things got better.
Staff was very helpful and professional.
The staff was amazing and very helpful. Close to city, great connection to airport (30min)and Manhattan. (10min) good service and VERY comfortable bed!!! Can recommend to everyone so thank you for helping making our trip unforgettable Christian and Editha
Unfortunately one male staff member made us feel very bad when we asked for more water on our first night, making sure to let us now he was doing us a favour. However all other staff we encountered were so kind, helpful and attentive!!
I've stayed in many Manhattan hotels in my time and been disappointed by many of them for the price. Being only 2 stops from 59th & Lex, Four Points LIC is a fantastic hotel with the best of a high quality chain mixed with the individualised service of a boutique! Rooms are clean, bright, with comfortable beds and the staff were incredible! Will 100% be staying again when I rerun to NYC.
Small rooms. A massive pillar inside the room. My 8month old son banged his head into it while crawling, seems like a building defect. I don't know what happens on the top floor, But the noise and bangings from there. I'll avoid the topest floors if I were you. The rugs in the room needs proper vacuuming as I kept picking up different colours of hair from the rug to avoid my son picking up one and putting it in his mouth. The room lacked basic things like a microwave, a kettle for boiling hot water and a fridge. If you have kids ill advice you to avoid it. You don't want to be waking up at night to a crying hungry baby and there r no facilities to warm up their food or make food....recipe for disaster. We asked for a kettle but our offer was declined.
Free wifi close to manhattan multiple delis around Restaurants also nearby Clean rooms and bath Lovely pillows Nice TV and bed Good area as well Nice and polite staff Lovely manhattan skyline view from the rooms
very close to metro and 3 stops to manhattan.
no fridge in the room, no breakfast included in the price, noise coming from another room at night
location, front desk staff, comfortable bed, view of manhattan from the room
Parking The shower that flooded
Roof to lounge
No matter where your rooms you will here noisy . If you are in the front you hear the elevators if you are in the back you here the housekeepers working .
I didn't like the staff! First day my card didn't work Also didn't work first and second day! It was my first visit to newyork i got this hotel to see the view! It's a little zoomed out skyline! Micheal is very rude person we didn't know the rules of staying in one room for two days and he was getting rude to us! That's his duty to tell us! If he can't be awake at night he should work in morning. There was only one towel in room! When we ordered water bottles he told us to come down and get it very very bad service! Morning staff is nice though! The hotel is build nice but staffs gonna ruin it i guess. I am never ever gonna stay there again
I like the hotel room it was small but really good worth the price
