    Location Beautiful room Cleanliness

    We rang reception once quite late due to a problem with our bathroom door, the person we spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive of our request for some assistance. I would expect the member of staff to be more understanding considering how late it was in the evening and the problem with the door was through no fault of our own. Despite this the man who eventually came to fix our door was very friendly and helpful!

    Nice location, walking distance to Times Square and Empire State building. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfy hotel.

    It was a 10-15 minute walk from times square and other interesting places. Remember to bring comfy walking shoes

    Guest Service Agent, Dion Howell took care of my bags since I arrived super early from flight, about 7:30am. He took my cell number and offered to call me when my room was available, before the usual 3pm check in time. As promised, Dion called @11:30 to let me know my room was ready. After a redeye flight into Newark, I was very appreciative of the early check in :-) Room was extremely clean & smelled fresh without being overly floral or bleachy. Nice, comfy lobby area where I waited for friends to arrive from out of town also.

    Air conditioning unit in room was kind of loud, but was able to sleep.

    The room and bathroom were great - soft beds, not too small, not noisy. The location was just 1 block from the subway station and there were plenty of places to get food or shop nearby, so the location was perfect. The location was also busy enough that you could get a cab at anytime, so don't get a car service from the front desk because you can get it cheaper by walking outside.

    Location

    Shows room for 4 adults on booking.com but each bed is very small for two. Room size is very small ,no space for luggage,

    Room was very clean and the bathroom had nice amenities.

    Card key did not work several times and I had to go to the front desk to have it reactivated.

    This hotel's location is great. Plenty of places around to eat, from light snacks to full meals. Near many subway stops which allow great mobility in the city. Rooms small but very clean and well designed.

    Would be nice to have a little larger room but we had 4 to a room which was pushing it to find storage for suitcases.

    Close to Whole Foods. Subway stations on 23rd St. very close. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Would stay again without hesitation.

    Very convenient location for the Subway and walking distance from Penn Station too. The person on the front desk when I arrived at 0430 in the morning (10 hours later than planned) was an absolute gentleman!

    Very noisy air conditioning which one cannot turn off….

    The moment we stepped in the door, your staff was super friendly, helpful and efficient. The little pub attached was perfect for grabbing a bite to eat and a drink when we didn't want to travel far. The cupcake was a cute addition to our welcome too! And we got there early for check in but were sent right up to our room. Much appreciated!

    I wouldn't say I didn't like anything. The wifi connection was awful but that wouldn't deter me from staying here. The rooms were very small but we come to the city to explore not sit in our hotel!

    Great beds, great location, value for money. Clean. Enjoyed the onsite bar.

    Some of the staff were unfriendly and seemed incompetent (others were great). We were only able to take the elevator to our 2nd floor room, which was slow and full all the time. Tried the stairs (also the emergency route), but the exit was blocked...worrisome. Turns out you needed staff help to unlock the doors in order to use the stairs. Will not be going back simply because of this safety issue.

    The staff were very busy really did not have time to give us information we asked for directions to the Gramercy theatre and she said I will send it up to your room when we were ready to leave the directions had not arrived. Then we were given verbal instructions but they err genuinely busy checking people in. There was some confusion about the parking

    Location was convenient for going uptown and downtown. Rooms were clean and it had the necessary items needed for travel. Staff were nice and helpful.

    Visiting for five days and three of those days we had a/c not cooling, a/c supposedly fixed but not cooling, a/c froze up and not cooling, a/c completely replaced and it didn't cool, and then finally a a/c that did work on the fourth night. On the first night we had to move rooms at 2AM in the morning the heat was unbearable. The second night we had to endure an unpleasant 76 degree. The third night they brought us a fan only one but they said they would send two of them. The fan helped tremendously and on the fourth night with a a/c that worked it was the first night we could pull the covers over us. Since we had to get upset with them about the service we didn't mention anything about the loud noise the bathroom door made when you opened it...but by the third day we made them fix it since it was disturbing since it would wake you up when going to the bathroom at night. I'm so disappointed in this place being called a Sheraton in Midtown New York. They said they would call us about our bill to be reduced however it has been two days since we checked out and no one has called, so I'm taking the time to write a letter to corporation and vent about the disappointing experience at the this hotel.

    They upgraded our room for free, and the staff was wonderful. They even provided us with water bottles for our trip around the city! It was also very clean and the beds were so comfortable! We slept wonderfully!
