Clean, comfortable, good location, staff mostly very helpful
I asked at front desk for advice whether to take a taxi or shuttle to airport. I was told they have a flat rate of $65 for a taxi, not including tip. I asked them to order a taxi with that rate, and it turns out there is an extra charge of $7 if you use a credit card. Not a big deal, but it would be better to be accurate.
Very clean room with a comfortable bed and wonderful soft pillows!
The location, proximity to Canal st.
The construction site close to hotel, very noisy from 7am, but they never stop building this city ))
Price was right and the location was terrific.
IT WAS A VERY CLEAN HOTEL, THE BED IS VERY COMFORTABLE! EXCELLENT SERVICE, VERY ENTHUSIASTIC STAFF, I RECOMMEND IT!
Everything you'd expect from a 3-star hotel
Bed, staff, workout room was small but sufficient, location was perfect
Street view room was just loud, but what can you do? Construction next door, garbage trucks all night.
Strategic location around SoHo
Close to where I needed to be.
Rooms are a bit pricey if you're just staying for a place to sleep.
They provided me with early check- the staff and stored my bags when i checked out. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
I asked for a cab ride to the airport, they sent a black car instead of a yellow cab. They tried to charge me over 70 dollars for the ride to JFK. I have been to NYC many times for work and it should not cost more than 52 Dollars. The price should be negotiated before one leaves the property.Next time i will get my own cab.
The hotel staff was awesome !!!
Everything was just too cramped or me
The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom a good size.
The lift was incredibly slow to arrive every time and often made a number of detours and mysterious stops. But far and away the most annoying feature of the hotel was the incredibly loud everything: street noise, corridor noise and room noise. The air that clicked itself on and off was so loud and so violent that it woke me up every single time it came on. We chose to turn it off and freeze rather than have to listen to it.
convenient location with different subways around the corners. supermarket is also just round the corner. sufficient facilities.
Close to the subway.
Value for the money Friendly staff Free wifi, bottled water Quiet Proximity to major attractions
Would be perfect if there are more restaurants nearby
This was our 2nd hotel in Manhattan. After some drama at our previous hotel, the front desk clerk was extremely accommodating in helping us get into our new room. We had reserved a king room, but he was kind enough to put us into a double at the same price. Staff worked quickly to get us into our new room. I have worked in the service industry and was blown away by the service we received, just at the front desk. Will definitely be coming back here.
the location, flexible check in time.
at 4 am the people next door to my unit were banging on the door for half an hour. that was extremely annoying.
This hotel was a rarity in NYC. We booked online and it turned out to be a great say at a great price. The room was actually "large" and very comfortable. It's location was great for walking everywhere!
Elevator was slow - only 2 for whole hotel.
The room was very comfortable, super nice bedding. The toiletries are very nice quality. The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The elevator - sorry - it was so slow. But not a big deal. And the bar is freezing, need to crank up the heat.
The staff is very friendly.
There was construction going on with a lot of noise outside of our window, very early in the morning. Couldn't get a restful sleep.
I accidentally left a very important & personal document behind. I knew for sure that I would never see this document ever again & I was heart broken. I thought by chance I would call when I got home (Midnight on a Monday morning) just to see if someone from the hotel could locate this document. After picking through the trash, the custodian found it! Christina at the Front Desk took my mailing information and Mr. Winestein, Hotel Manager all worked to send my document to me. Thank you!!!!
This could (should) be a great place to stay, however, it just about rates fair in our opinion. Staff and Wi-Fi were good, and if you want to stay mid/down-town then the location is good, with subway 5 minutes walk and some good places to eat close by.
We visited during a cold snap and our room window on 12th floor was not double glazed, so the room got cold quickly, was noisy even so high up. The heater when on sounded louder than the subway, so was impossible to have on and sleep! The room was just clean, but not brilliant. We expected the room to be cojmpact, but was perhaps a little smaller than we'd hoped for. Can't speak for the hotels other facilities as we didn't use them. The room was therefore expensive & hotekl over rated given the problems & size.
Location was pretty convenient to 2 subway stations ... Staff is pretty nice. They arranged for a flat rate car to LGA airport for $45. There is a nice Pret A Manger coffee/food place around the corner with great Croissants and coffee ...
There is a construction site next door - the construction starts at 7 am sharp so don't plan to sleep beyond 7 am. Its a new tower of condo's being built - completion due in Jan 2016 - and its Dec 2014 now as I write this. At over 400/night with taxes ... you may want to consider another time when rooms are cheaper. Rooms are small - no place to open up suitcases - not much storage either. I guess typical for a NY hotel but none the less... 400 a night ... wow. Restaurant in the hotel not so good (to be expected with so many good places around)
Excellent location, easily accessible to subway, SOHO shopping, restaurants. Rooms were small but thats normal for NY, very clean, neat and tidy. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Staff was very friendly & very attentive. We had an issue with our room & it was addressed & taken care of immediately.
Not the best view.
