The staff is very friendly.
There was construction going on with a lot of noise outside of our window, very early in the morning. Couldn't get a restful sleep.
I accidentally left a very important & personal document behind. I knew for sure that I would never see this document ever again & I was heart broken. I thought by chance I would call when I got home (Midnight on a Monday morning) just to see if someone from the hotel could locate this document. After picking through the trash, the custodian found it! Christina at the Front Desk took my mailing information and Mr. Winestein, Hotel Manager all worked to send my document to me. Thank you!!!!
This could (should) be a great place to stay, however, it just about rates fair in our opinion. Staff and Wi-Fi were good, and if you want to stay mid/down-town then the location is good, with subway 5 minutes walk and some good places to eat close by.
We visited during a cold snap and our room window on 12th floor was not double glazed, so the room got cold quickly, was noisy even so high up. The heater when on sounded louder than the subway, so was impossible to have on and sleep! The room was just clean, but not brilliant. We expected the room to be cojmpact, but was perhaps a little smaller than we'd hoped for. Can't speak for the hotels other facilities as we didn't use them. The room was therefore expensive & hotekl over rated given the problems & size.
Location was pretty convenient to 2 subway stations ... Staff is pretty nice. They arranged for a flat rate car to LGA airport for $45. There is a nice Pret A Manger coffee/food place around the corner with great Croissants and coffee ...
There is a construction site next door - the construction starts at 7 am sharp so don't plan to sleep beyond 7 am. Its a new tower of condo's being built - completion due in Jan 2016 - and its Dec 2014 now as I write this. At over 400/night with taxes ... you may want to consider another time when rooms are cheaper. Rooms are small - no place to open up suitcases - not much storage either. I guess typical for a NY hotel but none the less... 400 a night ... wow. Restaurant in the hotel not so good (to be expected with so many good places around)
Excellent location, easily accessible to subway, SOHO shopping, restaurants. Rooms were small but thats normal for NY, very clean, neat and tidy. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Staff was very friendly & very attentive. We had an issue with our room & it was addressed & taken care of immediately.
Not the best view.
Rooms and bathroom were great. The staff were very helpful
Guests room service plates left outside their room for over 12 hours!
Fab bed and location
Room was well appointed. Bathroom was beautiful. Great use of space and great showerhead and water pressure. Front desk manager in the morning was extremely accommodating and friendly.
The heater in the room was extremely loud. The man behind the desk when we checked in at 12pm was very unfriendly and not accommodating at all..Asked for a high floor was told no. Asked for a late check out was told no..had to move rooms and guess what? There was a higher floor afterall. His name I think was Leon. He was rude ,unapproachable and not friendly at all . If it hadn't been for the manager in the morning we never would've returned.
Great corner desk if you need to do any work from the hotel. View of the City. Free bottled water and coffee in the room. Rooms are a good size, larger than the Courtyard Marriott around the corner. Soap dispensers in shower.
Elevators are very slow and one was out of order. Ice is in the basement.
Great bed! Free local calls and bottle of water and premium coffee paks...warm, friendly staff that was eager to help you. If you forgot a particular toiletry article they would be glad to provide it!
Windows need a washing.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I really love that espaecially when I travel alone. Thank you!
Nothing- all was great!
Everything. Excellentbed, shower, attention. I regret I only spent one night. Other nights were too expensive.
You can get a good sleep which is not an easy problem to solve in NSC, also had a nice hot powerful shower
Didn't like the resteraunt, but you can eat any food from any country in Nyc so no big deal..we ate out
My stay was ver comfortable.
Staff was very helpful with any special request we had.
Internet service was good TV viewing was good Location was good- subway and the Holland Tunnel few blocks away. The staff was respectful even though their service was inefficient
The shower in my room did not work My boyfriend and I were running late for work being that the shower was not working- the repair man did an incomplete job with "fixing" it. The front desk provided false information with getting me any type of compensation due to inconvenience. The aesthetics of the bathroom completely under subpar- the toilet tank had a crack - seems like it could've been broken- i did not want to find out. How much does cost to replace a toilet tank cover -like really? Still waiting for the issue to be resolved - with being compensated
The location is excellent. The shops and restaurants of Soho, Greenwich Village and the West Village are all within walking distance.
The room was extremely small for 2 beds. The window wouldn't close all the way and the blinds didn't close so it was impossible to sleep with the noise and the light.
Clean and comfortable bed. Good AC and heating. Spacious by Manhattan standards. Good sound proofing. Never failed me once the times I've been here.
The restaurant attached is subpar.
Clean and comfy room with great view. Tea/coffee making facilities in room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to buses and subway. Cafés and restaurants within short walking distance. Quiet at the weekend, peaceful to sleep.
Very noisy from 6am on weekdays - especially construction noise from site next door.
Location Cleanness Staff great in all senses they were patience and efficient with some problems with my credit card while the hotel was full So i really appreciate their treatment for me
800 dollars for four nights With no breakfast and no gym or spa at least a little sauna
Very close to the City Winery
the area the hotel was in. The Cleanliness. easy check in/ check out.
construction. misrepresentation of the room size. the fact the staff directed us to park in a certain location and our car got towed.
There was a terrible smell blowing into the room. other than that it was great
Great location clean room and staff was very nice.
