The staff! Every one was great! The bartender Jasmine went out of her way to help two old California's with directions to your big city. The people at the front desk were also great! Thanks for everything! Get the elevators fix PLEaSE!!!!

Could not check in until after 4:00 , safe in the room would not function however it was repaired on Friday.
Updated and comfortable rooms.

One elevator was under construction during our visit and the other elevator got stuck for 15 minutes w my business partner inside. The rest of us had to walk up and down the stairs to 15th floor for a day. They credited people one night for the elevators being down however even though my business partner got stuck in the elevator they did it do anything for her.
The beds were very comfortable.

the worst things we didn't like we couldn't knock the hotel itself for as there wasn't anything they could do about it..:there was a construction crew on a neighboring building that starts at 7am every day except Sunday. Also the bed was a little hard for our liking. They were also working on the elevators while we were there, but the worst part about that is having to call the front desk and they would quickly send an elevator up to meet you.
the location was great, close to the subway and a lot of places to see. The staff was always courteous and attentive. Free wifi was helpful, and the room service was actually reasonably priced that we ordered breakfast two mornings in a row, and it was delicious!

Internet is free but slow and made it difficult to conduct business
staff is friendly; location is convenient to Soho shopping and NYU; room is reasonable size for NYC; got room for a good deal but would not believe price was reasonable if asked to pay full price of almost $400 per night

One of two elevators was under construction but it was a secret while booking!! So the guests had to wait (sometimes) too long
Elizabeth, the receptionist, has a friendly attitude and a big smile. Great service. Thank you

Be careful not to stand in the outside restaurant area with a beverage not purchased from the restaurant. They are extremely unwelcoming to outside food and drink. No big deal but the server was very aggressive with policing this policy. They were having issues with the elevators so only one worked. It was not terrible but did take time to get up and down to the room at busy times.
Location was key for us! This location was great for walking everywhere we wanted to visit. Short 2 mile walk to go to the Statue of Liberty, West Village and to the show we went to on 23rd.

Great hotel. Great staff. Great bed. Great location. Great price.

The first bedroom was very noisy due to construction work nearby but we were offered a better upgraded room when we complained.
the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great in the middle of great shops and restaurents.

The hotel had no record of our stay when we arrived and seemed to blame us for this - despite the fact that I had an email confirming the booking. The hotel reception staff were unbelievably rude.

Could have done with a bit more coffee in the room - you can get refills downstairs but we were being lazy!
Near to a subway station (few minutes walk). Near to some good eateries and bars, and walking distance to West Village and the high Line. Nice comfy bed, everything was very clean and the towels were really soft! Staff were friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room so we would be higher and thus it would be less noisy which was nice.

Our first room on the second floor, had a heater which was very noisy but we got moved after the first night to floor 19 and that was fine . Rooms arnt huge , towels small but it's 3star and well priced .the bar area is pretty rubbish but there are lots of good places around so why worry !!!!!
Great area to stay , economical hotel , staff were helpful and friendly . Bed was very comfortable , and trust me I'm fussy there !!!!!! It was clean and basically good value but in a great fun area !!!!!! Free coffee good too.

Wi-fi was extremely slow. We mostly used LTE.
Great location, decent sized room for the price.

The staff was friendly and everything was clean.

The staff were very friendly (a special thanks to Brian at the front desk for ensuring my daughter got the reserved taxi); the room was comfortable and quiet (I was not next to the construction site). A great location if you want to explore Soho.

We didn't have a bad experience but their hotel bar could be re-vamped. We had one drink there, the tiny bar felt really "dated".
We stayed here four nights and it was perfect for us. We pretty much only slept here and were out and about during the day. We booked well in advance and got an excellent room rate. All in all, we were really pleased!
March 5, 2015
Very poor sound proofing between rooms, noise level was so loud from windows, we could hear everything on the street. Also cleaners went knocking on every door in the morn shouting housekeeping waking all guests up. Very annoying
Free wifi, cleanliness, comfie beds & friendly reception staff

They took the money the same we we made the reservation.
The comfort and the location.
February 24, 2015
The front desk staff were extremely friendly, even called about 20min after check-in to ask if I was happy with the room - the kind of nicety I was not expecting at this price range. The king bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The room faced the back of the building so it was very quiet. The bar downstairs was great for a quick drink while waiting for friends. Conveniently located for walking around lower Manhattan. Even in January's freezing temperatures and with wind chill advisories we walked to West Village, Soho, 9/11 Memorial Museum in order to take in all the sights.
