no free breakfast like at the staybridge
The hotel was in the perfect location, the room sizes were great in terms of a New York City hotel and I will definitely return on my next visit to the city
Value price for room, location, how clean the room was, on the 19th floor there was even a great view north. Service was friendly and even the bellboys were suggesting pro actively.
nothing to dis - like.
great location. close to subway and downtown.two complimentary bottles of water every day. complimentary coffee in the room
Location / staff / room were awesome
old room , no clean, hotel very noisy cost bus station. room very hold and the service of this hotel are very poor.
I loved the friendly staff and the convenient location. My husband was able to get a late check out while I worked. That was a great perk as it was 9 degrees outside.
The staff, CILIO ( I hope the name is spelled correctly) was very good at handling our water issue, there was dirty water coming out of the shower.
The female staff I spoke to before CILIO , who said it wasn't the hotels problem but the city.
The location was good and the staff was as friendly and accommodating as I have experienced anywhere...and I do quite a bit of leisure travel. Craig of Wilbraham, MA
I liked everything about this hotel. I didn't expect much for a 3* hotel but this was definitely over my expectations! Free Water in the room every day. Free upgrade to a better room when we checked in. The wifi in the room as well as in the lobby worked everytime and no problems with connection. Ironing and ironing board in the rooms, fitness and ice machine in the hotel is more than you can expect for a 3* hotel. Due to the storm we had to check out one day earlier to get back home and even though we had already paid for the entire stay, the friendly staff gave us back our Money for the last night. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone going to Manhattan!!
I liked everything especially the everyday friendly staff!
The staff is incredible , very helpful , nice and smiling !!
location is very nice closed to all transportation and closed to times square
The hotel receptionists not enough professionals
Ability of the staff to compensate for a flooded lobby from an outside city water main. They didn't skip a beat.
Slow elevators. Out of the 3 I think only one was operating.
Close to Times Square, 42nd st subway and Port Authority Bus Station. Only five blocks to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Rooms size are ok for a couple of nights.
Whilst the hotel is located close to 42st it is also right next door to where parolees check in with the State Parole Office. Couldn't work out why so many people were lining up and stripping down to go through a security check. Then later in the afternoon noticed a small sign on the door stating State Parole Office if I had known this prior to booking I would have booked elsewhere.
The staff m name kathie was very nice n polite so all best things reflected on it
We flew into newark ... Got bus frm airport to port authority and hotel was literally around the corner. Return bus was $56 for 2 ad and 2 kids under 12(free). Check in was very quick And efficient ... We dealt with lovely young lady by name of Ruth who could see we were exhausted and checked us into our rm early ... Cupcakes at reception were lovely touch and yummy . ! Rooms weren't massive but they were fine ... Big TV and loved fact they had radio. Rooms were tidied evey day and free bottled water replaced each time . Wifi worked very well mostly . Breakfast at dis hotel is what Id consider expensive if not included in your rate ... The free hot choc in reception each evenin again was a lovely touch . This hotel will def be where il stay next time I'm in nyc cannot fault it .. Staff make it and not to mention location location location
Bed and pillows were very comfortable, room was clean, hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. it is the hotel policy that they give you a free bottle of water and replace it whenever you need during your stay.
Very small gym and noisy treadmill.

Did not look flexible on late check out
Better than 6 star hotel...
Internet very slow but the rest was excellent...
location, room size
the water is a bit cold in shower, the air conditioner is not good enough
All the staff except for one were very helpful. we came in from Richmond, VA for a quick visit to time square at Christmas. A couple of ladies were very knowledgeable and helpful with directing us to certain areas and important info regarding the quick time we would be in nyc.
although I had put a request when I submitted reservation for a skyline view on an upper floor. when we arrived we did not get that (only17th floor looking into business buildings). the desk clerk didn't seem at all willing to check or help with this, with the attitude that's the way it is, sucks to be you. now I realize that locking in with upfront payment might of helped. But I couldn't do this as I was using my daughters credit card to reserve room so my wife wouldn't know about the secret trip to nyc at Christmas. the rooms were small but well kept. 300$ jacked up holiday price is a lot to pay and you feel room request should be made. I reserved three weeks in advance.
Everything was awesome , I had a great nights sleep and the staff was so polite and nice.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, they try to accomodate your need and deliver the things you requested rapidly. Room was small but efficient, the complimentary coffee is great!!
The hot water in the bathroom is not so great, especially for the basin - there's only one switch and you have to switch to maximum to get hot water, but by then the water would be very strong and you couldn't wash anything without getting wet. And they aren't quite nice about delaying check out.
Location Bed Staff
Breakfast doesn't cater for vegetarians, too much meat choices. Wifi isn't strong in rooms, well my floor 18.
