Located just minutes away from some of the Bay Area’s best attractions, the hotel is ideally set in the heart of Berkeley, only a few minutes away from Berkeley’s incredible dining, museums, kid’s...

Location is good it just is need of updating and maintenance
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, compfy bed, good water pressure. HD cable channels would be a ++. Would reccomend staying there.
Location was walkable to great shops mans delicious food! The hotel was beautiful and easy to get to San Francisco or East Bay.
The double bed was quite small for two adults. The Choose Green option is misleading and if you put the Ticket to Choose Green they will not only not change your sheets they will not enter the room to clean. So that was a bummer.
SHOWER WAS TOO LOW FOR 6 FT BATHER. SHOWER HEAD WASN'T WATER EFFICIENT AND HAD A POOR STREAM. SMALL BATHROOM.
View was great!
Good location. Room service. Green service.
Hotel needs refurbishing. I had to ask for the fridge and microwave for my room. The elevators were slow and long in coming and rattled. It was difficult finding parking late at night. I think I would try another hotel in the area next time. The front desk staff at check in were more interested in talking to their friends than checking me in.
Very nice bed and it was walking distance to Amtrak and that was just what I needed
Front desk staff were professional, helpful and friendly. So much of a stay depends on that first impression, and whether you feel the staff will be on top of any issues if they do arise. I completely felt this was the case with the staff. Excellent. Room amenities and cleanliness - excellent. Location was great, just across the bay bridge from SF, with affordable rates and free parking, and restaurants, mall etc very close by.
Location, Staff, parking
Error on billing / Front desk unable to fix but accounting took care of it /
A big spider crawled down from the ceiling while working on desk. Asked for room change and got it but hassle was not what i expected after payong so much for the room
Our room w/King size bed and sleeper sofa worked out fine for 4 of us. Lobby was very nice. Enjoyed the pool/spa. This was convenient to a destination wedding we attended.
Bathroom a little small for 4 people to share.
the breakfast bed staff
no room service that day low quality resturants nearby
The location was nice. The staff was friendly.
Our room was reserved through Booking.com. We specifically asked for 2 queen beds, and this was confirmed via e-mail. Upon arrival the 2 of us found we were only given one full-size bed, although we were being charged for 2 beds. The front desk staff said there was nothing they could do about it, and that we would have to take our complaint to booking.com, even though it was the Sheraton Four Points that was collecting our money. We were told by staff that they do not have any cot beds. The room itself was a handicapped unit and was small, and for $290 we didn't even get a refrigerator or microwave oven. We asked for an extra blanket and staff proceeded to provide one that was old and dirty. There was a doorbell at the entrance to the room, and people passing by took it upon themselves to ring the bell, apparently seeing humor in waking guests during the night. What I would really like to do is get a 50% refund, which would only be fair.
The services was great. The price was good
The hotel room had a bad odor and the carpet was wet by the bathroom
vicinity, shopping nearby, staff, swimming pool and hot tub
elevator was not really reliable. Room was very small (when compared to others rooms we had during our stay in the USA, which were far more reasonably priced)
Location & cleanliness
Not enough insulation from the hallway & outside noise. Could hear low conversations in hallway. Train noise is quite a nuisance.
A free shuttle to the train which takes you to San F. city centre
A bit far from San Francisco
Staff very friendly Rooms well equipped Good location for shops and restaurants Feels safe Gym and pool good
Wished the cafe in the hotel had longer hours
We were going to San Francisco for a surgery for my Mom. As such, she had mobility issues. I can't tell you how great it was that your hotel had handicapped parking right next to the elevator for her, and that it was so convenient to get her up and down with the walker. Thank you so much! Your staff was all so helpful, and the room was lovely!
There was a strange mechanical buzzing in the wall early in the morning, which we weren't really sure about, but everything else was great!
Danny was nice enough to give us a higher floor so the grandchildren could enjoy having a view of the bay and they really enjoyed that a lot!
The cafe was not really functioning this last weekend. Not sure why.
I was able to get a room at a reasonable price prior to a day at the races with my significant other staff was friendly room was nice overall service was great
Friendly staff. Nice location.
A little noisy on the second floor above the main entrance.
The staff and service.
Friendly staff, free bottled water and fruit upon arrival.
Slightly older facility, a little rundown, but clean. The air conditioner was loud, hard to fall asleep.
The room I reserved was given away to a hotel manager's friend. I was "upgraded" to a room with 2 double beds instead of the king bedroom I reserved 5 months earlier. The hotel was out of all the breakfast items, including cream cheese. Cinnamon bagel's are not good with grape jelly. Room service was not opened for service although the in room information say's that it is. Had to wake up a 6 year old at 9:45pm to go get something to eat. Really poor service! Signed up for the go green program on my daughters room and never received the credits we were promised. Was told I would hear from the GM to discuss the problems and as of now I have not. Spent over $1500.00 for our rooms at your hotel. If this is the way all Starwood properties are ran I will never stay again.
