A little run down. Service usually good but not always. Wifi connection in room very very slow. Plate off one of the outlets in my room.
The rooms are beautiful, every staff member is friendly and goes out of his/her way to make sure you are comfortable.
The staff is amazing. The food is to die for. We took advantage of the late night room service and the burger was the best I've ever had...ever!
Water leak closed spa facilities. Bathroom should have had mouthwash! Quality of towels could have been better at this class of hotel.
Size of the room. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Gorgeous view of the parkway.
it is good that the hotel is closing.it needs an renovation.
The fire drill and the poor apology.
The fire drill and the sound of the elevator throughout the two nights.
Valet parking takes a while, but they do warn you about that (call 15min before checking out, essentially before you leave the room with all your luggage)
Staff were extremely accomodating and made us feel welcome. The Breakfast and parkign deal was especially nice, we essentially got free room service breakfast (which was fantastic... coffee itself is worth it's own rave).
The entire staff made us feel very welcome and treated us like royalty. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. They left a delicious pastry present in our room for my wife upon our arrival.
Thin walls, way more children and pets than you would expect, expensive food/room service, in general none of the perks you would expect from a "luxory" hotel.
Sauna, large jacuzzi, nice interior, great location.
Service was just OK, facilities are run down, overall this is not up to snuff for a Four Seasons.
Comfortable bed, good location
Room service meal options were too few
General setting and comfort
The room and bath are dated.
From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the staff treated us like 'royalty". They were all very friendly and always happy to help, serve or just to have you there. It was was WONDERFUL!
As an older couple it would have been nice to assign us a room a little closer to the elevators! It was a route march! No coffee maker in the room. I enjoy the a espresso machines in some Four Seasons rooms.
Great room, comfortable, clean, everything working.
It's getting a little out of date. The hot waterways not very hot. The room was not well prepared.
No help with baggage. I carried a suitcase and a duffle bag along with my purse down a long hallway. I also ordered room service and the food was horrible. The amount of money I spent on a salad and 4 dumplings was herendous. $58 for this plus tip was a bit much. I wouldn't stay again. Tooooo pricey. I Also didn't like the maids in my room touching and rearranging my personal things.
All Four Seasons hotels and resorts are wonderful, of course, but we loved stayed here this weekend. We were even upgraded to a suite overlooking the beautiful Logan Square at no charge. This is a classy hotel with a wonderful staff in a great location in Philly.
I echo many people's reviews. This hotel isn't awful but it is not the normal standard of a Four Seasons hotel. From the room décor to service the hotel is just a little sub par. With so many lovely hotels in Philly I wouldn't stay here again.
No TV in bathroom . No coffee maker in room. No free wifi even you have paid so much room rate. House keeping is not as good as usual. Too many things to complain as a real loyalty member of FS!!!
I can't say enough about the quality of the staff. I have stayed at many places and the staff at the Four Seasons really go out of their way to make you feel like royalty.
the noise was unbearable at night and at 7am
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff
No in room coffee Even thoughw as explained and understood on the front end, did not like to have to pay full price for parking as a guest of hotel
Nice location. Great staff
Room temperature fluctuated throughout the night. I was either too cold or too hot.
Checking in was a breeze, despite that my room wasn't ready until later that evening. The staff members were all very friendly and courteous. Lodging was very spacious. Two generously-sized TVs (either 42 or 47 inches) provide entertainment for both the living room and the bedroom. A bedside outlet/usb hub is much appreciated. iPhone docking station has lightning connector. Oversized bath tub made comfortable baths. Robe and towels felt fluffy. Window blocked out most of the street noise.
-inside hotel staff -rude -hidden fees -asked if they were sure we "could afford to stay here" -rooms weren't that nice for a 5 star hotel -no view
-Atmosphere -overall look of the hotel -amenities -center city -walking distance from restaurants and shops -valet staff is SO welcoming and friendly
