The staff and location was great! The staff especially! !!! Every need was taken care of in the most professional and timely manner! !!
Only improvement I can think of that the champagne and chocolate strawberries weren't in the room at time of arrival. However I really appreciated that they did come shortly after our arrival and not knowing if it was possible. It was but a shot in the dark request and super happy it did happen! Thanks for our wonderful Four Seasons experience!
Room and amenities great. Bed super comfy. Love the extra large bathtub in our room. Great view of SF. Love that they have l'occitane products. breakfast and Lunch were if course excellent at MKT. It was definitely a pricey place but during holidays it was worth it.
I guess there was some Pop band staying at same time and my daughter kept getting harassed by security because they thought she was there just to see them. We were not. It was her bday and we wanted to just stay at really nice hotel for it. But looks like this place is the hotel a lot of celebrities stay because we did see George Lopez and the band Train during our stay
First time staying at the four seasons, very impressed!
Didn't get a market st view. :(
Location was superb. The ambience was great, rooms were clean and well sized, food was delicious, and the bar at night was alive with people. Loved our stay here
Staff a little slow in the bar. Sat for about 20 mins before food came.
Maid service was top notch
That for $1000 per night you had to pay for WiFi when it was free city wide.
The property is magnificent and the staff is excellent
The Market Street area may have been nice at one time. It is difficult to leave the hotel without being bombarded with profanity shouted by the largest group of homeless people I have seen in any city. These folks are not the average 'buddy can you spare a buck.' My wife and I felt very uncomfortable going out after dark and it is quite unpleasant any time of the day.
Location was great! Easy access to BART.
I've stayed in many expensive hotels all over the globe. This was the most expensive and the smallest, blandest room. I wouldn't stay here again.
Wifi was terrible - and they want you to upgrade to higher wifi package. Dont like being nickle and dimed by such an expensive hotel
Excellent service, unique location
There's one elevator that takes you from ground level to the lobby(5th floor), then you have to walk to another elevator to go to your room.
Food wasn't tasty
Great location Helpful staff Very clean and comfi
Too many homeless around the hotel, they do not bather you but keep the street unclean .
Location, convenience, bright rooms
Lack of connecting rooms (if booking through booking.com) Telephone bills: Charges for calls that were not connected. Had to query with front desk before they were removed for bill
Rooms Staff Food
This is a proper 5 star hotel a little on the pricey side but we'll worth it.
I found the rooms to be outdated and dull. The towles were washed too many times.
Friendly staff Room are so comft and huge
Great view from our room, spacious, comfortable.
Too close to the elevators and we could constantly hear them through the walls.
The smell of the lobby, check in desk area
One of the best hotels on the Market street, excellent location near all main transport hubs and streets in this part of San Francisco, large rooms and wonderful panoramic view from the top-floor rooms on both sides of the Market street. Price of the room was high, but reasonable. I would recommend this hotel for businessmen and tourists as well.
Wifi is slow and expensive (about $18 per day). Free breakfast is not included.
1.Concierge was excellent at recommending places to see and restaraunts. 2. Spacious rooms, tastefully furnished in easy on the eye colors. 3. Breakfast was tasty and superb, albeit with no buffet 4.Location is superb for seeing SF. A block away from UnionSquare. Shopping, food, China Town and even Fishermans Wharf are all pretty close. Needed to use my car only to go to Golden Gate bridge and Park.
1. Charging for Wifi is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. 2. Perhaps a slightly larger offering for breakfast especially on weekends. 3. Although address is Market street, access to hotel is from a small alleyway at the back which was a bit of logistical inconvenience at the beginning. All in all loved the stay at the Hotel and would definitely be back on my next visit to SF.
For this price no free wi-fi is unbelievable. The view was horrible. Way too expensive for what you get.
Nice place, great location, good service, but this is more a "business Four Seasons"; it misses that special feeling of other Four Seasons hotels we have been. The pool, sauna and fitness are great if you like group lessons, but are not atractive at all.
Missing the special "Four Seasons"-feeling.
The location was fantastic. In the heart of downtown. Impresive view. As usual, I am delighted about the great staff and Management of the Four Seasons.
The hotel had a melancholic flair. I hated the artwork hung throughout the hotel and in the rooms... blanc canvas in a frame, depressing art. The rooms are okay. The Lobby is set in the back corner, no grand entrance for this grand Hotel. I have stayed in much nicer Four Season Hotels and Resorts. I am sorry to say, this one is not.
The kid registration desk was a pleasant surprise. The Four Seasons plush toy on the extra bed and the kid slippers and bathrobe were very nice touch.
Some of the staff are less friendly then others. Free wifi would be great since there isn't really additional cost to the hotel.
