Way over priced!

Poor control of the foyer area. Some disreputable characters doing illegal business around the bar area. I would not stay there again

Only thing, charging for WiFi in this day and age when one is paying nearly $1000 for a night's stay is absurd. When I gently suggested to the front desk that they may like to change this policy in the future, the chap kindly took it off the bill. Still, I'd make it free straight up.
We liked its position near shopping, restaurants and in the heart of the vibe-full financial district. One gets a sense of the strong economy and exciting industries of greater San Francisco. Restaurant busy, bars busy, people everywhere within the complex.

The hotel is located close to Union Square but not in it. That gave us privacy and convenience at the same time. The staff were nice and helpful.

Only improvement I can think of that the champagne and chocolate strawberries weren't in the room at time of arrival. However I really appreciated that they did come shortly after our arrival and not knowing if it was possible. It was but a shot in the dark request and super happy it did happen! Thanks for our wonderful Four Seasons experience!
The staff and location was great! The staff especially! !!! Every need was taken care of in the most professional and timely manner! !!

I guess there was some Pop band staying at same time and my daughter kept getting harassed by security because they thought she was there just to see them. We were not. It was her bday and we wanted to just stay at really nice hotel for it. But looks like this place is the hotel a lot of celebrities stay because we did see George Lopez and the band Train during our stay
Room and amenities great. Bed super comfy. Love the extra large bathtub in our room. Great view of SF. Love that they have l'occitane products. breakfast and Lunch were if course excellent at MKT. It was definitely a pricey place but during holidays it was worth it.

Staff a little slow in the bar. Sat for about 20 mins before food came.
Location was superb. The ambience was great, rooms were clean and well sized, food was delicious, and the bar at night was alive with people. Loved our stay here

That for $1000 per night you had to pay for WiFi when it was free city wide.
Maid service was top notch

The Market Street area may have been nice at one time. It is difficult to leave the hotel without being bombarded with profanity shouted by the largest group of homeless people I have seen in any city. These folks are not the average 'buddy can you spare a buck.' My wife and I felt very uncomfortable going out after dark and it is quite unpleasant any time of the day.
The property is magnificent and the staff is excellent

I've stayed in many expensive hotels all over the globe. This was the most expensive and the smallest, blandest room. I wouldn't stay here again.
Location was great! Easy access to BART.

Wifi was terrible - and they want you to upgrade to higher wifi package. Dont like being nickle and dimed by such an expensive hotel

There's one elevator that takes you from ground level to the lobby(5th floor), then you have to walk to another elevator to go to your room.
Excellent service, unique location
