Stayed at the hotel for my husbands birthday Had emailed with Jane the concierge beforehand to organize breakfast in our room on his birthday and for his birthday gift to be delivered with it on a plate and with a silver domed cover. Jane was wonderful but unfortunately her written instructions were not followed and room service delivered our breakfast and handed me my husbands gift when I opened the door. It was just as I had given it to them and not under any cover or hidden in any way. When I complained the waiter said he would go and get me a cover. I had to distract my husband in order to keep him from returning to the bedroom from the bathroom so that he would not see a room service cart. When the waiter finally returned with a cover the food was cold and the surprise was ruined. The whole point was that the gift would be deliverd with the meal and my husband would be surprised. It was a disaster. Jane left clear instructions apparently but they were not even read I think. This was my husbands 50 the birthday and I was trying to do something special .
The bed was very comfortable and the cheese buffet was great

Clean, gracious, luxurious, calm, accommodating, quiet, and elegant. Incredible location near SAM and Pike Place Market. We enjoyed every minute, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Booking.com only listed ocean or city view - we ended up with partial ocean view and curtains when pulled open bunched up on the side covering the partial view of ocean The rain shower head drips cold water on your head if you are using the other one Price - You are paying for the location at this particular Four Seasons WiFi was sketchy - paid $18/day for high end WiFi and it was still questionable. Speed was great but it kep dropping connection. IT help guy on phone was east coast low customer service type

I really enjoyed the spa..I got a Swedish massage one night that totally rejuvenated me (first professional )!! I used the steam room several times( wish it stayed open longer..however who wants to work that long!!) totally understand!! And i got a facial for both my sister and I which was very nice..careful you can easily run up your credit card..buying the extra products!! The room was very nice..slept like a queen and it was very spacious so we weren't in each other's way. The tv in the bathroom mirror was a big plus!!! Glad I decided on the city view room it was just perfect for me(I see water all the time..and the view was fine ) staff was excellent and service great!! Order the cheesecake in the lounge as you kick back and relax( very comfortable lounge type chairs!! And get the chocolate "Seattle" ! It was awesome side piece!

At 7 am some parents allowed their kids to play American football in the hallway. Totally unacceptable and not a mistake of the hotel but some parents can not control their kids.
The room, the bar and the food, the staff is fantastic and location great

The real problem with Seattle is the large number of homeless ppl all over the business district streets. That has nothing to do with the hotel.

I only stay in 5 star hotels and this room and hotel was not a good value at $755 a night. The 4 seasons in Santa Barbara was less in a more upscale property.
