The scenery was beautiful! The amenities were great especially for families. The breakfast included was a nice extra.
The rooms really need to be brought up to date. The wallpaper throughout the hotel is very dated. Most of all when walking through the hotel it smells old or musty. The heating/air conditioning is very loud and the refrigerator clunks when you are trying to sleep.
panoramic views of the valley and mountains beyond
distance to rooms and stairs for loading and unloading
Our room was very comfortable, and after a good night's sleep we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with spectacular views. They allowed us to check in an hour and a half early which gave us the opportunity to relax before attending a wedding in Jackson.
The parking lot was nearly full when we arrived late after the wedding. We managed to squeeze into a spot a larger car couldn't use. It was a dark, lonely walk to the room.
Location comfortable Breakfast was good
Heater was dirty had lots of stuff gobed on it parking lots of it but far away
Location was great.
Resort is a bit outdated, rooms and bathrooms need renovation.
The view from the public rooms and our room were beautiful. The facilities are very nice with indoor and outdoor pools. It was great to be treated to cookies and cider at our arrival. The buffet breakfast was very good and complete.
nothing to report
The location and view was good
This is a motel not hotel, old, old, old, from decor to bedding.
Swimming Pool was very good. Food and staff were excellent.
Long corridor lay out,
Exquisite location, great balcony with incredible view. Plenty of clean towels.
Room was a bit worn. Bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was horrible. Dried up leftover eggs at 8:30 in the morning. WI fi access was not offered.
Friendly and helpful staff Gorgeous grounds and views The breakfast was excellent The room was very clean
The rooms are somewhat dated
It was tolerably clean. The dining room staff were very friendly and helpful.
The facility was in great need of a renovation. It was very tired. The food and dining room were only "fair" at best. We won't recommend or return.
They did not clean the room or give us clean towels or make up the bed
Motel is dated - could definitely use an update. Not really worth the cost.
strong musty oder in hall,s and room. no elevator, parking to far from room,s
The view from Mt. side rooms was beautiful -
Specific tables at buffet breakfast I didn't like Didn't have mt view room so didn't get a view either at breakfast
The grounds were nice and location good.
security for the room was lacking A maze to get to pools, front desk or dining. Ex. had to walk thru dining area to get to pool or go outside. Also lack of communication ;no info of what was available. We were late because told breakfast started at 7:30 am when it really started at 7am because of bus people. we really wanted an earlier start. Room was tired and bedding scary. Wanted to go for a walk on the hiking path but had to cross a busy street to do that : so didn't. It was very noisy inside and outside when trying to sleep.
Location was great. Once we changed rooms the view of the mountains was beautiful. Breakfast was great, grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Staff was great and very accommodating.
Bed and pillows were too soft and very uncomfortable. Carpet smelled a little like mildew. The hotel was great but really needs some upgrading. beautiful area would be a shame not to renovate the building
Liked the location and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Very dated. The rooms did not appear to be overly clean, however this could have been because the carpet, drapes and bed spreads were in need of replacement.
The view out back of the mountains was beautiful.
Crying children in the next room for 2 nights at all different times. I recommend when there are older couples staying they shouldn't be put right next door that has children. It wasn't pleasant as we were there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and couldn't.
Everything was great,Staff was professional. V
Great location in North Conway. Nice views from the dining room. Hot breakfast was included.
Older Room with dated CRT Television. Outdated tile bathroom in need of refurbish. Torn and frayed bath towels. Uncomfortable mattresses on both queen beds. Pass through doors between adjacent rooms offered low privacy and noise control.
The resort is well kept and convenient to activities. Great views and emenities. Spotlessly clean.
Room needs to be modernized. Kind of a shock walking in because I travel some for work. The TV was old and there was no guide. Resort did not make purchase of movies in room available. After a day of kayaking and other things we just wanted to sit and watch something. Both area cinemas were closed. Fourescent light in bathroom had to warm up ten seconds before coming on.
Pools, playground and tennis courts.
very friendly staff, very clean, quiet and child friendly all rolled into one. Outdoor pool is a great spot to lay back and unwind. Great outdoor bar with a super nice bartender
could use some up dates such as new keyless door locks and flat screen tv
Location, activities for the children--swingset, pools, mini golf. Location was perfect to get out and about in North Conway. Very quiet and private despite being on the main road.
It looks as though it hasn't been updated since opening in 1995. We rented a loft room and there was an open staircase going up to the loft area--a significant concern when travelling with small children who could fall easily (I was even nervous for myself walking up and down those stairs!). Breakfast buffet was good but slow to be seated--apparently they do not have enough silverware to keep things moving so one morning we left after waiting 20min for a table (with plenty of open tables) to get breakfast elsewhere. The staff stated we weren't being seated due to lack of silverware. For $200+ a night, they should be able to send someone to Walmart to buy more silverware! Also, our loft room was advertised with a balcony/deck but did not have one. Overall, the experience didn't make me want to leave and go to a different hotel while there, but I'm not sure we will head back next year.
