Franconia Notch Motel

Clean, comfortable, easy to get to and from Loon Mtn.

Confirmation email didn't place the motel properly on the map but the website gives good directions.

The bed was too soft the room was musty smelling opened windows helped the smell dissipate

The room was comfortable and clean, with nice little fridge and microwave. Sam had fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. Little cottages, I was worried when we pulled up, but it was a great place for the money.

parking was tight, but manageable.

We have stayed here before, and will be back. It is a very quiet location, the setting is beautiful. The central location makes it possible to tour around, and have a place to come back to with out driving too far. The staff is just the best!

Management extremely professional, polite, helpful, and courteous. Looking for a comfortable affordable place to stay to hike the nearby mountains. This is it. Great internet connection, TV, microwave, and fridge. Quiet. Could not hear any of our neighbors. All we need when traveling to the Whites

old towells dirty and stained .. i am lucky my boyfriend and I brought our own towells

Budget friendly; location; clean; tub/shower/tv with cable; 2queen beds+cot with space in large large room; no noise from other rooms!

Broken blinds in bathroom; matresses VERY firm; shower didn't work properly; reservation was not treated with accuracy (i.e.: price);would have paid a little extra for the room to have these issues not present

Good, no frills, good price, clean, good location. Didn't break the bank for a nice nights stay. I hope to be able to use the hotel again for future weekend get away.

Honestly my girlfriend and i are just regular people from the north shore of Boston, not sure if this will be on the internet but i wanted to say a couple great things about Franconia Notch Hotel. The hospitality that we got from the staff was great. We made it clear that we wanted the best room with river views and the guy let us choose the room we wanted, we got to choose from a cabin or a room and we picked the room just because it was more our style and the river views and sounds were incredible, i got to relax siting at the table watching t.v hearing and looking at the river. The room was clean which was a plus and it was cold outside and the heat in the room was awesome we were not cold for one second. If you are looking for affordable pricing on rooms and looking to be comfy this is the place but if you like high end places where the amenities is all you are looking for then i would advise some place else. Overall i would give Francoina Notch Hotel a 95 just because it was a great place located in Francoina Notch,The hospitality was great and we had a great time.

Franconia Notch Motel is good quality for the price, especially in this area where hotels are quite expensive. It is well located between the mountains and the town, many restaurants around. We had a large room and the river was running behind the motel. The WIFI in every room was very useful. We liked our stay at the Franconia Notch and would come back again.

Friendly front desk & services, give a lot of information about white mountain. Comfortable room & bed!!! We like it!!

The location was really nice just few miles away from Franconia mountain and Tramway. There was river just behind the room so it was looking pleasant. We had spent good time taking photos and roaming near by river.

we stayed in cabins and they were located right on the river...it was a glorious place to have my morning tea.

Dark, dark room -- very old and out dated. Bathroom had no plug that would accomodate my hairdryer -- no other mirrors in the room -

There were no electric sockets in the bathroom area to use for drying hair or shaving, the rest of the wall sockets in the other areas of the room were not any good either, plugs kept falling out of them, could only find one that worked and even then you had to stand couldn't sit or do anything else. would not recommend this motel to anyone eve if it is close to the sights in the area..... many others to choose from that are certainly better...

Best mold that I ever seen in the hotels in my whole life Awful smell in the house. The motel holders bill us at high season rate, while we stay at the motel in off-season period.
