The cleanliness of our rooms was greatly valued. The staff was well informed and able to answer all our questions about the area of the market, dining and transportation convenience. Everything was modern and up-to-date.
The breakfast was only cold or room temperature food. While everything was beautifully displayed and food was replenished quickly, a few hot items would have been appreciated. Also there was a good bit of noise in our room from maintenance in nearby rooms early in the morning and thru the day.
Close to everything yet quiet. Great staff, super clean, and if it matters to you the shower water pressure was insanely good!
My sister and I visited for only one night and wished we'd had the time to stay longer. We were very pleased with the service provided, the close proximity to our chosen restaurant and the venue where we watched a two man play. Being near the 70 year old mark, we were concerned about the walk but Charles assured us that it would be a piece of cake, but he would be happy to drive us over. We braved the walk in the cold and it took us all of five minutes to get to Hank's and then about three minutes from there to get to 34 West Theater. Had a wonderful stay. All staff was helpful and with all of the "goodies" provided by the hotel, we probably could have skipped dinner!!
The only unpleasant experience was riding in the hotel elevator with a distressed couple, the woman with a bleeding injury to her face and hand. She warned us not to take the little alley way exit from the hotel as she tripped on the uneven pavement.
Location, location, location!! attention to details to make your vacation memorable. Happy hour & breakfast that are including with your room are well done. No regrets-just do it
Staff was so helpful and friendly.
Website said they had room service and they did not. I depend on room service when I travel with my young children. The major construction next door was unsightly with a big road block and an orange sign that said Dead End. Felt like I was in a bad part of town.
Tucked in a side street in the middle of historic Charleston, the hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Every am coffee and tea service was readily accessible and the included continental breakfast included organic fruits and great variety of foods - help yourself or have it delivered to your room. Evening wine and cheese good and fresh baked cookies milk, teas and hot choc served lTe evening. Bikes are available for your use so although the hotel does not have a bar or full service restaurant/ room service, it's still a great plCe to enjoy all the sites and great restaurants/ theater/ tours within easy walking distance oh and near terrific shopping
Nothing. It was perfect for our anniversary get away!
location, wine and chease reception, staff.
Expensive parking. Poor breakfest.
The staff was SO helpful and everything was so clean. Nice snacks, food, wine etc. available throughout the day.
We only had to eat out once a day thanks to the generous included breakfast, nightly wine and cheese reception, and free milk and cookies. The staff were incredibly attentive; one night, we just missed the wine and cheese so they brought us a tray of leftovers and huge pours of wine. They let us borrow umbrellas when it rained unexpectedly and stowed our luggage after checkout since we had a late flight. I will definitely stay here again if we go back to Charleston.
Everything was perfect. The entire staff has a "Can Do" attitude.
Nothing at all
The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Our balcony was enormous and the room lovely. Nice bedding and wonderful pillows!
No gym No pool

A delightful, unique hotel in a very convenient location. Not too large, but with very well designed public spaces and "private corners". The staff is really focused on your comfort/enjoyment.Would definitely return.
Hard to find the entrance on Church St. Suggest giving the address of the Auto Entrance on your website!
Staff was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Great location. Great breakfast. You won't be disappointed.
Pillow service was awesome!!! Having breakfast on our balcony was really nice too!
Not any options for lunch or dinner to be delivered to our room.
Martin at the front desk was wonderful. The wine and cheese hour was very relaxing, We enjoyed the Port and cookies at night.
Paying for the valet parking.
