It was very conveniently located to the shopping and tourist hub of San Francisco. It did not have air-conditioning which seemed to be a factor only at night. |

Excellent service staff at the counter and cleanliness of the room. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. |

The staff were helpful. The room was kept clean. It was in the heart of San Fran. I had a window view of a brick wall. There was a nightclub next door that played very loud music late into the night. |

It was clean and cozy, and the staff was very nice and helpful. great location, especially for those without cars The bed was very stiff, and the room was a bit tiny (althought this may be due to the actual room location, which was in a corner near the stairwell). |

The hotel is conveniently located in down town area. The rooms are simply conceived, yet clean and with all things needed provided. One member of the people at the reception desk was not an "example" in friendliness. |

Room nicely furnished, good free toiletries(!), staff friendly and helpful. Rooms incredibly noisy - it's above a nightclub and it was so loud in the room at night that the floor was actually vibrating. I was on the 2nd floor, but maybe the higher floor hotels are quieter. |

The location was perfect for riding the cable cars. The bed was very close to the wall on one side. It was impossible to get into or out of bed on that side. |

Clean spacious rooms, nice decoration, friendly and informative staff, one block from Market Str, 2 blocks from Union Square, very close to transport Could have wider selection in breakfast, there was no air-conditioning in the room, on the fifth floor there was much noise from the air-pumps(?) on the roof. |

It is well located at the Union Square and all shopping downtown. Also very near to cable car station and MUNI buses, etc. The fact that is was very hot the few days I was there, I wished the rooms were with air-conditioning or at least good ventilation to bring in the cool night air when guests are back to the room to sleep. |

The rooms were fairly clean. The staff was friendly. There is a nightclub right next/under the hotel, which produced a horrible noise in our room. |

staffs are quite helpful. locate at city centre and very convenient. it is noisy during night time as there is a disco next to the hotel. the sound of disco music can be heard from the room and make me can't sleep until 2:30am |

It was so convenient to the Powell Street station of bart, and to the cable car terminal, Union Square and Chinatown is within walking distance No air conditioning and no hand soap |

The staff was very friendly. Location was great. 3 minutes away from tram station and 10 minutes walk to Union Square. The walls are definitely thin. Can hear the people next door having their bath. Especially noisy when they're bathing middle of the night. |

Location was perfect to explore the city. Also the members of the staff were really friendly and offered a great service. They recommended us nice spots to go out to eat and made a great effort of getting us two rooms when we showed up a day earlier then expected. Free afternoon drinks in lobby on wednesdays because of trouble you might experience from renovating activities. There are renovating the hotel and because of that breakfast had to be taken back to the room to eat. Cleaning members who wanted to clean the room at 8 in the morning while I was still sleeping. Normally they don't come before breakfast time is over. Now they showed up even twice while I was still in bed. |
