Location is the only good thing about this hotel
Price Comfort Front Desk Staff were rude when we were checking in! Room is tiny Bed not comfortable
Clean rooms Location was excellent Great value
alittle small but nothing surprising considering its SF.
The location of the hotel is very good. About 35 mins by BART from SFO airport. Very easy to locate from Powell Station. Only 5 mins to Union Square, adequate eateries around the hotel.
The room looks a bit old. Had a little bit of musky feel/smell.
That's enough for take a couple hours for lunch time's just need something Paquette of Turley or ham or something else... It's good
New bathroom Comfortable bed
Odour in hallways
They didn't tell me there was a problem with the Queen bed room I booked and just threw me into a room w 2 twin beds that was 14x20. They proceeded to charge me the same rate for a room i didn't want. The bed was short, hard and uncomfortable. The clerks were rude. I'm not sure if it was cause I'm black, I hope not, but Never again!! Horrid experience.
Excellent central location and friendly reception staff. Free, generous basic breakfast (room full of bagels and pastries and a coffee machine).
Highly over-priced for what it was. It was a busy time in the city, so accommodation was at a premium...but still. Room had an over-powering smell, some kind of cleaning product, had to leave the window open the whole stay. Be warned that the card you book with online will be erased when they swipe a credit card for 'incidentals' when checking in and a temporary 'hold' is placed for the entire cost of the booking on the new card swiped. Can be problematic if, for example, your company booked the accommodation for you and were assuming the payment would come off that company card.
Location,staff friendly,parking choices
Size of room was very small. The hotel Was located on a busy street and beside a night club , impossible to sleep . Very expensive for a very dated hotel
The location, the staff and the room; we stayed in room 530; and compared to other boutique hotels in other cities, this place was spacious. It had a fan, the 5 days were very humid in San Francisco. Near Mission! Plenty of towels and toiletries. Cable TV, coffee, fast wi-fi (which it was great because I had to do some grad-work during my vacation)
You can hear the bands playing on Friday and Saturday night, if your room it's towards the alley. There was no heater in the bathroom and the bathroom door is stock. Oh, and the room's door has a high edge, so you have this abnous (somewhat strong) nightlight from the hallway. - which we solved by dropping the over-blanket on the edge. (I guess they really want to smell if people smoke inside the room?)
overall good location, and fine for a short trip to SF. great staff. but loud music from club downstairs made it hard to sleep! club is open late. maybe rooms on higher floors better, but on 2md floor quite, needed white noise to sleep.
They're very strictly of smoking policy.Fine 150 $,even you locked the restroom and put your head out of from the small window and you have to standing on the curl of the bathtub Many room no view ,no fresh airbecause cannot open the window
The hotel couldn't be better located, it's a stones throw from the shops at Union Square and Market Street, spitting distance of the famous cable car and F-Line Streetcar as well as local buses and metro services. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by as well. Couldn't find fault
Wifi condition is good. You can use it without stress.
The room is too noisy to sleep. Hotel staff have known the noisy sound, but they had not noticed me that and they didn't give me any service.
I love the night club. It was very fun and was nice not having to worry about getting back to the hotel after few cocktails because our room was right above us. Will be booking again soon.
The valet was hard to find initially. Had to call the hotel to figure out where it was located. It was poorly marked or signed.
It was pretty clean and relatively updated. While the breakfast was small, it was nice that it was free. WiFi was pretty quick.
Bed was not great. Incredibly squeaky. Room was small. TV channels were minimal. Very loud. Heard other guests' water running and doors closing.
I liked the location of the hotel it is in the middle of everything very convenient. The staff were super nice. Since it was my husband's birthday they gave him a free drink for two at the bar. When we went to the bar the bar tender gave us free entry to night club which was jumping. Had a wonderful time.
When I got to hotel at 12 noon the morning staff wouldn't let me check in early so I had to lug aroung my bags for 3 hours. When I came back and checked in, the room had stains on the windows. Like a milk stain that no one wants to clean. The walls were noticeably dirty. I think its time for a thorough clean up, not just a maid clean up.
The rooms are too small, the hotel odor was terrible, the elevator wasn't working for almost 8 hours. The breakfast was very poor. I don't recommend this hotel definitely you'll find a better hotel in the area.
The lication is really good. Bed and bathroom are very clean
The smell of the room, I have to leave ac open all day long to avoid the smell. The carpet looks dirty. They need to replace it
Staff was great, they were able to store my luggage after I checked out and able to get me a car service for my ride to the airport.
Room was nice, however the bed was hard as a rock. Not very comfortable.
size of room Loudness of the airco
location, free coffe all day, free breakfast, more than enough to get your day statred, chinese restruant and bars attached to the hotel were very good, front desk were very helpful.
we were issude with a very small room, that i would have said should only have had a single bed in it
- top location - price - friendliness off staff
- breakfast 'room' (too small) - wifi (as in almost _every hotel_ it was a bit shaky)
The location was convenient to Union Square and the BART which was an amazing transport from and to the airport during the stay. Muni was close to take to the Pier(s). Shopping was conveniently surrounding the hotel vicinity.
The thin walls which allows you to hear every footsteps, stomps and banging of doors.
Location - near union square and many good restaurants Helpful, friendly staff Reasonable price for SanFrancisco
There is a club on the ground floor with loud music until about 2:30 am Rooms small but comfortable
