Very good location, 2 min walk from metro station, 2 min walk to tram, bars, cafes and restaurants in every direction. Tiny room, but perhaps this is the cost of staying in downtown for moderate price.

I was suprised that I was in walking distance from many shops, and the Metreon, where I go to watch movies. I didn't know that there is a club right under the hotel. I could hear the noise form the club all the way to my room, so I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to fall asleep. I'm a light sleeper and it can be difficult to stay asleep because the slightest noise will wake me up.

A clean hotel in the middle of the city, near Market / Powell. I was living up on the fifth floor and could hear some bass tones from the nightclub at the street level, I was NOT bothered / disturbed but I guess patrons living on the second and third level was until 1-2 am when the club closed.

Great location, handy for all transport, sights and shopping. Room very hot and small. Bed was narrow. Breakfast was a joke - get there early or food ran out. Very poor choice of food.

Great location, great price, comfortable room. Yhe hotel has facilities (not even a bar - instead it has a night club which is mercifully quiet, at least on the fourth floor!). OK as a base but not a place to stay at.

Excelente ubicacion y la atencion en el front desk. La habitacion pequeña pero muy funcional. Encuentras todo lo que necesitas. Sin duda lo recomendaria a quien busca alojamiento economico y bien ubicado.

The location was excellent, within the city centre. Big, clean room and bathroom. No breakfast room. There is like a small buffet on the 5th floor and then you have to carry the breakfast to your room which was inconvenient.

Great location!!! Very clean and very good price. Breakfast was the same every day ( croissants, etc) and you have to have breakfast in your room because there is no bar. But I would choose again the hotel. Good relation quality/price!!!

Cozy, convenient location, great price Noisy, not well insulated, could hear the noise from the basement bar on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Ice machine next to room was very noisy as well

Perfect location if you need to stay downtown. Very convenient tariffs, free wi-fi, which in other important hotels downtown is pretty expensive. Free continental breakfast: in a small take-away room, but it's free and abundant, cannot complain!

The location was very convenient to a lot of attractions in Union Square. It was also fairly close to the Moscone Center. My room was rather hot, even with the window open... And this was in late March / early April. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be in the summer. The pillows were way to thick and firm.

The location is excellent, just 1 block from Powel Bart train station. What the hotel calls breakfast is ridiculous. Miserable pastries, poor coffee, cold milk and oranges available in one of the rooms. There is no space for more than 2 people at the same time, you have to carry the tray to your room. The rates could be cheapper and use the room for extra guests.

So CLose to the Union Square aLso everybrandshop-everything is in your hands. 24 Hour Cafe-Tea at the reception area. The breakfast between the 7am-9am so little time and ofcourse unhealthy American donuts-cakes-juices no need to say breakfast......Not Like European standards.
