i did not like everything, it is so dirty , i paid 140$ for nothing, i will not go back and advice all my friends to not go there, it was so expensive for nothing.

The hotel is very good and for a really good price. It's clean and adapted to anyone coming to NYC for holidays.

It was the cheapest hotel I could find.

The elevator smelled like crayons. The lobby smelled like old. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room smelled overwhelmingly of cleaning products. The place was dirty and old. Our room key deleted itself and we had to get it recoded. The hotel guy said to keep the key away from any cell phones, cameras, or other cards with magnetic strips. I didn't have any other pockets left.... The walls were razor thin too, I could hear every word the guy on the tv in the next room was saying.

The bathroom was not clean dirty clothes from last guest still in room. Non smoking room still smelled of smoke for $150.00 I'd much rather stay at a hotel that didn't change it's guest every 4hours.

The front desk staff was super friendly/courteous.

The room was pretty filthy. There were pubic haris stuck to the ceiling in the bathroom, the sheets were dirty, there were mysterious stains everywhere, but I expected it from reading teh reviews before booking. Thankfully, I travel with my own blanket (which came in handy as a layer of protection from the gross sheets) and only stayed one night before flying to my real vacation destination. However, I will not be staying here again, especially since our neighbors (could have been multiple people, as they rent by the hour) decided to have loud relations into the wee hours of the morning.

Il quartiere è sicuramente molto periferico se si è in vacanza a nyc, almeno 40min di metro x dowtown. Camere vecchie e messe male, spifferi ovunque. Molto caro data la zona e la qualitá, 118€ a notte senza colazione in un giorno infrasettimanale...

Im Zimmer ist kene Kleiderscharnk, kein Warmwasserzubereiter oder eine Kaffeemaschine, kein Toster, kein Bügeeisen mit Bügelbrett, was eigentlich Standard in amerikanischen Motels ist. Es ist gut für eine Nacht. Auscheck ist 12.00 Uhr, Wir mußten 4 Stunden länger dort bleiben, weil unseer Flug erst um 20,00 Uhr ging; dafür wurden 50,00 Dollar berechnet (ohne Quittung).

Absolutley nothing. Everything about this place was rancid. Only place I could find to stay while working the hurricane relief in Rockaway.

Staff was unfriendly. Rooms were dirty. People coming and going with prostitutes. No ammenities. Area is ghetto! Could not get an alarm clock, coffee or anything. Towels were even dirty!

Request wake up service, but actually didn't provide in the next morning, I wake up by myself.

Worst Motel i ever had stayed.

The room and the bathroom were dirty. The smell was terrible. It was very noisy during the night. It was a very unpleasant stay.

The location

My night at Galaxy Motel was the worst I've ever had in my life. Knowing that Galaxy is a "motel" I didn't expect my room to be luxurious but I've expected it to be decent. Unfortunately, it was extremely way below my expectation. First, I cannot say for certain, but I have the impression that the room hasn’t been cleaned for days. Second, the shower didn't work properly; I had to use a cup to pour water on my body. Thirdly, the room had bedbugs, which confirm my assumption that the room has not been regularly cleaned. While I was asleep I felt something bites me. When I turned on the light to see what it was, to my surprise I saw my sleepwear covered with blood and bedbugs walking all over the bed. I took my belongings and went to the reception desk to complain. The man on the desk completely disregarded my complaint and said no one else ever had such complaint before. I had to spend the rest of the night in my car. This was my night at Galaxy Motel.

It is located in east new York, which is fairly dangerous and it is a hotel that attracts nothing but crime and delinquents. Also it is filthy.
