The art is fantastic. The staff is very service oriented and I had a very nice stay. You could use a larger gym with more machines. Three people had to wait to get access to equipment. Never experienced that before in a hotel.

We stayed here for 2 consecutive weekends during our our of California. I have to say the hotel staff were excellent, the beds very comfortable, the ambience great and it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Hotel was very helpful when our safe broke with the important documents inside. Wireless was a little unreliable on our second visit on 3rd floor (having been excellet on the 8th floor on first visit). Gym could do with a bench.

The location and the price were great for this hotel. Just blocks away from Union Square and ChinaTown. Easy walking distance to many tourist locations within the city. The rooms were clean, a bit small, but manageable for two people. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and transportation around the city. Poor wi-fi service in the hotel room I was in.

Beautiful little boutique hotel. Staff is exceptionally nice and full of good information. Hotel is within walking distance to BART, Ferry Bldg., busses, Chinatown, etc.. Nice touch with the 5:30 wine break in the lobby. Coffee and tea on mezzanine in am. Would return again.

Great location Close to everything Staff over charged me for the accommodation and we were not told that the extra $300.00 was for incedentials and refunded later......The front desk staff didn't know this ?????? The next day staff did !!!

We were 3 couples from New Zealand stopping over for 2 nights in San Francisco after 2 weeks skiing in Steamboat Springs. We all loved the hotel - the friendly welcome & helpful information from the staff, the interior decor & history & the wonderful local wines served each afternoon. The position was perfect for shopping & dining & we used the cable car to explore Fishermans wharf from where we hired bikes & biked across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. The rooms are compact but have everything you need including gorgeous linen, big flat screen TV & a coffee maker. We would definately like to return.

Rooms were pleasantly furnished and comfortable. Amenities very nice. Beds great. Rooms small but adequate and to be expected in this age hotel, which was chosen for ambience. Love wine in the afternoon Hallway artwork is rather strange

the staff was amazing-superior customer service-we were always greeted by our name and felt at home-we have never stayed at your hotel and enjoyed our visit-thanks to grant and the amazing lady who greeted us(long hair and so efficient) our room(#321) was very uncomfortable due to the noise outside.we heard the sanitation trucks at 3:00am,etc. if we return,i will request a room on a higher floor and on the inside

Excellent city location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good size room with safe and free wifi. The happy hour wine in the lobby was much appreciated and a nice touch. Room was a tad warm even after we'd turned off the heating and opened a window. Didn't expect that in December.

The interior design of the hotel impressed me the most as it did my teenage nephews. They called it "hipster style." We all had a great time staying there because of the luxury, location and price. We took plenty of pictures posing in the lobby. I could not ask for more. None. Everything was perfect!

The location was perfect, once the car was parked it stayed there for our entire stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the complimentary wine hour a nice thing to offer.

The location was perfect. In between the financial district and Union Square. Not to crowded but easy to walk to Union Square, Chinatown, Columbus and Market Streets. And an awesome restaurant connected to the hotel.
