Wine and coffee were free but they were not good quality so we tasted them then went somewhere else.
Location was good for shopping areas; Staff was fantastic --- esp. Charley and the car valets; upgrade to Grand Suite was much appreciated, esp. for our crowd of females; Like getting daily newspapers.
Bathroom in queen bed unit was teeny, with no space for toiletries; Sofa bed in large suite is not very comfortable; leave enough towels for a least 4 people in a room that sleeps 4.
+) the location (Financial District) +) very comfortable and clean room +) roof top place to sit and chill in the evening +) very helpful and super friendly staff +) free wine during a specific time in the early evening
The ambiance and the wine tastings
Slight issues with the speed of the valet parking
"wine time" courtesy of the hotel!
Location, room was very comfy, wifi great, nice bonus of comp wine hour.
The room was very small and dark, there was one window but it looked onto a wall so gave no natural light.
quaint, clean, stylish, coffee in the morning, Keurig in the room, super friendly and helpful door man, parking valet. Great breakfast place next door with free trade organic coffee.
No counter space in the bathroom. Someone was smoking on my floor despite the fact that this is a NO SMOKING hotel. Staff quickly came up to investigate and it stopped but the smell lingered all night.
Lovely place. Liked complimentary wine at reception.
No breakfast included.
I have stayed in 4 San Fran hotels over the last 3 years. They will always be more expensive than what I'm used to but at least this hotel made me feel like I got what I paid for. This is the first hotel in San Fran doesn't didn't smell like cigarettes or something awful! Huge plus. The bathroom looked like it was designed by HGTV. The staff is extremely nice. There is a happy hour in the lobby which is an extra perk. And the room service they offer was the best dinner I got on this trip. Expensive but good food.
It wasn't very close to the Wharf or coast. We had to take cabs or just plan on walking longer. No biggie!
Cleanliness great location helpful staff
We had a medical appointment at 7:30 am. Instead of battling commute traffic we decided to stay in the city. The Galleria Park was in a great location for us. The hotel is nice and comfortable and close to many good restaurants.
I hate to spend a lot of money on a place to sleep, but this is SF and everything is expensive. The room, while nice, was a bit small which made it difficult to navigate when I had to get up in the night.
* Excellent location * Good services and helpful staff
* The room felt like smaller than in the photos * Sometimes t was noisy - perhaps better windows would help there
Great location, friendly staff...
Small rooms, a bit worn around the edges
Comfortable, great staff and love the fireplace & beingi close to everything!
The Managers Happy couldhave been more engaging, more wine, entertainment. And fromy convo!!
Great location & really lovely boutique hotel. Great staff.
Noise from outside was quite bad in the early am. Staff say windows will be upgraded soon.
Great staff A wonderful daily Happy Hour with wines and snacks Hotel is clean and tidy. Would defenately recommend!
Bed was too soft, probably needs to be replaced for over usage Rooms are a little small
Staff, valet parking, clean and modern bathroom, ironing board
Our second time staying here and it was once again amazing! Staff was helpful and attentive. We had a great nights sleep and enjoyed breakfast at the lovely cafe around the corner.
Great location, staff went over board to help, Hotel Common areas very nice, rooms were clean & comfortable
Very small bathroom, Restaurant was closed on a Sunday night
Great location , easy walking distance to north beach, fisherman's wharf, pier. A block away from union sqaure- if you like to shop. Happy hour was also a nice touch !
quite expensive for the tiny room we got - but I guess that's true for most hotels in an expensive city like San Francisco !
Location and friendly staff
Room cleanliness, one day they didn't clean the room.
Location; big comfortable bed; lovely room.
Having to sign on for wifi each day.
Everything else. There was no bell service when I checked in. The rooms were ridiculously small. There wasn't even a full bath. The wash sink was located across from the bed....not in the tiny W/C. Room was quiet....but dark and depressing. Only 1 bathrobe in a King room. Definitely would not recommend or return.
Excellent downtown location and very friendly staff. Great value in town.
San Francisco being a relatively expensive destination this fact is reflected to hotel pricing as well.
