Nasty place to stay
A jacket up place
Staff was very unfriendly... Room had used soap and lotions in room... Beds didn't even have fitted sheets on...holes in walls, lock was broken on door. When I tried to get another room he refused sayin he didn't have anything but hotel wasn't even booked....Online said all rooms offered DVD player when I call front desk asking where was DVD player he said if I wanted one I had to give a 50 dollar deposit...second day no room Service wasnt given only towels Were dropped off... worst experience wouldn't stay again not even for free
Love the fact the hotel is close to Atlantic City.
The sheets and comforter were dirty. Tv remote didn't work. My door keys didn't work. Everytime we left the room the staff had to use the master key to open the door when we return.
I normally don't make complaints. I myself have worked as a house keeper for several years at a holiday inn express, I now work cleaning vacation rentals in the Poconos. So, I do know the hard work that goes into cleaning hotel rooms. However, that said, If it weren't for the location and the fact that it was last minute spur of the moment I would have left. The cleanliness was terrible, it smelled awful and was dirty. Refrigerator smelled bad and could not even use it(gfi outlet tripped). Bedside lamp bulb was out. Hair all over bathroom tub. Bath toiletries were partially used (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) not even 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, no tissues in tissue holder. There was a squashed bug on the mirror. In room hot tub jets blew out chunky stuff. I personally cleaned the toilet and tubs with my own cleaners just to feel comfortable enough to use it. Slept only with the sheets because I was too uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the the room to use the blanket. Definitely would not stay here again for those reasons, would I recommend it to anyone.
Unfriendly staff, dirty carpets, little shampoo, malfunctioning WiFi, malfunctioning TV. I advise to look elsewhere.
The room was clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub.
As soon as I walked into the room it smelled unhealthy. Furniture was old and dirty. Bed sheets were stained. The bed looked like it expired amd had high mileage. There was no dvd player although it was advertised. The tub was covered with gnats. I rinsed off the gnats and they reappeared. They must have dropped from the gap in the ceiling tile. The place needs an overhaul. Looks like the kind of hotel room you see in movies where drug addicts go to shoot dope. I probably could have said something to management but there is no excuse for putting me in such a room.
Cheapest place I could find in the area.
Phones did not work. No towels in the room when we checked in. Our room was not cleaned between our first and second night. I did not feel comfortable leaving even my computer in the room during the day. Shower and shower curtain were absolutely disgusting. Tv remote did not work. Bedside lamps did not work. I wasn't expecting the Ritz-Carlton, but overall I still was not pleased with my experience at this motel.
The front desk rep actually was very pleasant.
The staff is very pleasant and helpful and the room with hot tub was rather nice for the price. I imagine the issues were non-normative and I would be willing to stay there again.
Room was not ready at designated check in time (1.5 hrs late) and there were some electrical complications with lighting and some outlets which needed their maintenance person. They offered for us to stay in the next room, but it smelled strongly of smoke which I was assured was just the air freshener.
nasty outdoor carpet along walkways, foul smell from the dumpster
