I loved waking up and seeing the beach and pleasure pier....lovely view....walking distance from everything....outside....pool....room service....
I don't like the no smoking part....
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We called the front desk to request extra towels and they were delivered in less the five minutes. I will return to the property.
The hotel was under construction. Serious remodeling was going on.
Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean and attractive.
Many issue caused by the construction/renovation. Door to patio wouldn't open, privacy shade would not lower or raise using cord, electrical outage caused many issues in room and there was no elevator working when we were checking out, we were not able to drive through front entrance area - had to turn around and go out the way we entered. Parked in rear due to construction, but could not get in back doors after dinner and had to walk around the building.
Access to the Beach was soooo EZ! View from my room was heavenly- straight out to the water! Great Ceviche- some of the best I have ever had. Bar staff overwhelmingly helpful and HAPPY!
It was quiet, close to the stuff we wanted to see. I drink so I don't remember much. Don't recall any negative experiences.
Mini fridge, balcony facing the ocean got to leave the door open and listen to the waves all night. Good shower pressure, nice tv free coffee in room. Big towels
The whole place was under construction and I mean flooring and walls torn up. They started early and even opened our room and walked in without knocking! The room had these airfreshners hanging that smelt awful trying to hide the paint smell. The light cover in the bathroom was filthy like someone had chocolate hands and rubbed it all over, the only window -with the beautiful view that we had couldn't see it because the windows was so dirty we had someone come up and clean it and they were so short they only did half of it. The phones in room were completely off, no service so had to use our cell phones to call down to the "lobby"- which wasn't really lobby because of construction, and it just rang and rang. The elevator was very slow because of men loading and unloading equipment. And because there was only two finished rooms on our floor, when we got back up from dinner they had put someone in the room next to us and their tv was so loud all night, very thin walls
Excellent location, hotel is remodeling mode and soon to become a Double Tree. Facility was in very good condition if you look past the construction. Staff is very friendly.
The bed was good but the pillow made it a restless night.
Nice remodeled room, new furniture, keurig coffee maker, fridge, ocean view! short walk to Pleasure Pier, nice staff. Pool is big although it was closed. Will definitely come back again!
The place is under construction, had a lot of workers going back and forth. By the end of day they were all gone. Construction should be over by end of jan/15.
Close to the beach
rushed out of the bar two hour before time to close because the staff wanted to go home early for the night .Staff at night was very rude and the Hotel was noisy due to renovations which they did not tell us when we made the reservations. There was no room service
Orange doors everywhere is too much
I hope my room represents post-remodel. Mid-century awesome with updated plugs for all your devices. Elevator announcements made me smile every time.
I found the climate control a little hard to deal with, but I wasn't staying long enough to warrant asking about it. And hey, remodels can be a tad inconvenient for parking.
Location was prefect. We could walk to the seawall and pier.
They are remodeling and the smell of paint was so overbearing we all ended up with headaches. The walls are very thin, you could hear everything in the room next to ours. Breakfast was cold and the quality of the food lacking. "All you can eat" is not a buffet which means if you don't order what you want the first time around, you wait for anything else you might want.
We really enjoyed Jamie the cook and Brian the waiter they were fantastic wonderful service really cared and went to great length to serve us and they made our stay really nice and we will stay there again. Service is everything. Please make sure Jamie and Brian know that they were appreciated Thanks Diane and Roland
Really cant say there was anything we did not like.
Location was great and bed was very comfortable but the pillows were NOT.
The price that we booked the hotel for (169.00) was not the price that we were charged (249.00) When I showed them the booking price they would not give me that rate so we ended up paying a higher rate at check out then what we made the reservation for. Not worth the 249.00 they charged for the room because the room had no amenities e.g. microwave, fridge.
staff found my tablet that had been left behind. they called me before i had even realised it had been left. such honesty isn't found in many places.
we had a good stay but the family room was on the ground floor level and our window was straight onto the pool. we didn't want to open curtains as they could see right in our room and also my parents had loud music from a speaker on the outside of their wall to very late.
One half of the hotel was under renovation with all new rooms.
Room was dated with old carpet, rusted doors and holes in curtains.
The carpet made the room smell musty
The fact that booking.com doesnt state that they dont take cash upon ck in...credit card only.? Who doesnt take cash, credit cards usually for incidentals not charged at ck in, but kept on file just incase, the csr was rude judging and discriminatory, the facilities pics nice actual hotel..trashy, we went somewhere else after being rejected to ck in w cash...they suck in all areas
No breakfast included in the price
no room services
We were treated to a warm greeting when we finally made it (which was much later than we had anticipated). Wonderful view and friendly staff.
Loved the location close to the beach, Nice pool.Good maid service.
Couldn't smoke on the balcony.Rooms next to ours were under construction.Hammering and sawing early in the morning over the whole weekend.
Located right on the beach and close to attractions. The bunk bed area for children was great.
Older building they are remodeling so they know it needs it.
The staff were excellent. Could not ask for better people. everyone was friendly and I would be very happy to stay there again
The wifi dropped out when to many people were on ot but other than that it was great
