Hotel Gansevoort

very friendly staff and because of a late departure we could leave our luggage in a storeroom

The staff gave good recomendation on where to see a live jazz group which we really enjoyed.

We booked the hotel for its pool and roof top amenities and views. The garden was closed for a private party the first evening and both nights we were there the roof space was used for private party the pool was closed the second day due to chemical imbalance.It was busy in the hall way and elevators when we returned in the evening.There were bouncers on the doors and guests travelling in the elevators with glasses of wine and although the staff encouraged us to use the roof top it was so crowded it was difficult to get out of the elevator.The roof bar was obviously well used and looked seedy could do with an overhaul. The hotel refunded $200 but we were charged $ 40 a night more than the email quote suggested.

Location is excellent if you're looking for high-end shops, funky and expensice retauranst and great people watching. Excellent rooftop club.

Small rooms - standard in NYC anymore and very noisy, even on the lower floors.

I loved the wireless connection. Bedding, space in the room, elevator staff. Simple things.

I didn't care for the eggs at continental breakfast. But if that's all I'm complaining about.... I'm pretty well off.

Comfortable room. Space for sofa and 2 arm chairs in the room.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and unfortunately there aren't that many hotels in that area that are any cheaper. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. It was also nice to have a pool to dive into in the morning to get over the hangover!!

We didn't realise that on the weekend the hotel is party central with all weekend parties, so just trying to get into the hotel was an effort and then the bar was always really packed and not the nicest crowd either and of course the drinks were extremely overpriced!!

Friendly, excellent concierge service, great location.

Very busy rooftop bar, open to the public, makes the pool in-accesible at times.

une porte entre le lit et la porte d'entrée de la chambre serait la bienvenue (bruits de couloir) et un double vitrage (beaucoup de bruits la nuit en bas dans la rue le week-end)

Sehr aufmerksames und für New Yorker Verhältnisse freundliches Personal: frühes Einchecken am Anreisetag inkl. Wunsch nach hohem Stockwerk + late check out, alles kein Problem (war zuvor 3 Tage im Chambers, da ging im Gegensatz zum Gansevoort mal gar nichts inkl. Reservierung verschlampt + ein gruseliges Zimmer mit Blick auf den verdreckten Hinterhof). Das Rooftop im Gansevoort ist ein Traum, inkl. dem bezahlbaren Frühstück auf dem Dach ein toller Mehrwert.

Das Gansevoort kommt wie die meisten anderen Design-Hotels in NYC schnell in die Jahre, das Design ist zwar immer noch top, aber die Gebrauchsspuren sind leider schon deutlich sichtbar.

Cete hotel est très particulier situé dans le nouveau quartier à la mode de New York il attire une clientèle internationale mais uassi américaine. Le personnel est au petit soin et correspond au standing de cet hotel le seul soucis à mon avis se troue dans la clientèle du wee end qui n'est pas très classe et ne vient dans cet hotel que pour pouvoir avoir accès au toit qui est un endroit très tendance à new york. Bref si vous venez à New york pour sortir et faire la fete c'est l'endroit ou il faut aller si vous vouler etre tranquille ne choisissez pas cet hotel vous risqueriez d'etre déçu
