As always. The Gansevoort on park was just perfect. Staff was super friendly.. The rooftop lounge was always happening.. Rihanna was staying in the hotel at the same time yet security were able to control all the crazy fans that were standing outside..

I was dussapointed that the downstairs piano/ champagne bar was turned into a sports bar... But still not a big deal

Design and welcoming

What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road! The room it self was so spacious, the bathroom was huge, it has a deep and wide bathtub, was great to relax in after walking for 10 hours around in NYC for 5 days. Beds were very comfortable, very modern and luxurious decor. We also had a balcony which had a view of Park Avenue! They have a nice rooftop bar! Which played great hip hop, Rnb on Thursdays and Fridays after 10. Security and staff were great and very helpful.

Don't expect it to be cheap!! You pay for what you get!! Again don't expect it to be quiet either it's NYC!! We couldn't here the music from our room coming from the club upstairs but because we were facing on to park avenue we could hear sirens going off at 4am! if you wanted peace and quiet don't stay here!But in saying that would stay here again it's just at a great location and just an amazing hotel!

Quallity of rooms has dropped comparing the last years stay drastically. Rooms have strange smell. Slippers are not there anymore.

rate is pretty high - but this is Manhatten ...

Beautiful room and bathroom, very comfortable bed, mini-bar and snacks, turn down service, ice brought to my room in the evenings, very nice staff, great security.

Paper thin walls...I could hear every conversation from neighboring rooms...loud music, doors banging, laughing and talking in the hallway until 4am.

Spa was not fully functional ( no manicurist available when requested, exercise room under renovation) and did not live up to the relaxing, inviting exhale spas I have experienced in Los Angeles ( seemed like an annex) Hotel looking a bit tired and has many plumbing/structural problems. Could be more sound proofed. There was a leak that spread to a large part of the floor of our room.

The staff was present and helpful; the room was well cared for, and the elevators were always quick.

Lack of comfortable sitting in room - sofa too deep to sit comfortably, chair not comfortable.

Excelent service, beautiful and confortable lobby, very fashion decoration. Room and bathroom of big sizes and big windows (lot of ligth). Good views from the pool bar, but there is not a place to go with children.

Breakfast is provided in the italian restaurant of the hotel, at a expensive price (+25US$/persona continental brakfast).

Service in the hotel was friendly and prompt. The hotel is a great place, lovely décor...

I was not happy with the room, when I went online before I booked I purposely booked the grand deluxe king room for my boyfriends birthday, I wanted to spend a little more and make it a nice room. I had friends that met us in city and this room on the internet showed a couch and living area. When we got to the room it had one chair, and smaller than what was shown. I called downstairs and they said they have a few different types of rooms, I felt I over paid and didn't get what I paid for. I wasn't sure if they gave me this room because I booked through your website and if I had gone directly through them I would have gotten the nice room that is portrayed on the website. So with that, I was very upset.

The staff, amenities, location, accomodations were excellent. This is our new NYC hotel.

Cool hotel. Great ambiance. Excellent facilities. Larger than average rooms. I really like this hotel!

I would love a coffee making facility in the room.
