This 4-star New York hotel is within a 5-minute walk of the 2nd Avenue Lower East Side subway station. It features modern décor, an outdoor pool, and the Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya Japanese restaurant....
Score from 490 reviews Very good
There was very little space in the tiny wardrobe to hang any clothes and no hooks in the bathroom for towels!
The club in meat pack is better
The room, the lounges, the food, the staff.
Size of the room!
Pool area to loud music and only open to 6 pm .
Internet is really very fast.
Have talked to other guests. All felt that booking.com gets the worse rooms. The room service was in the room next to me. From 6am until 1pm every little nois was heard. The room service knocked almost every half hour on my door (daily until 1pm). The power adapter offered was not usable (doesn´t fit the wall sockets).
Great location. Clean and comfortable room
Someone banging on a door on our floor at 4am screaming to be let in
location, view, amenities, plush atmosphere
Feel and look of The hotel
Breakfast takes à long time
Design, location, staff, size of rooms, roof top pool overlooking Ekoure State Building.
No complimentary tea or coffee in rooms.
all year, heated rooftop pool with view on Empire size of the room, view on Empire
noisy in the room (communicating door poorly shielded, outside air con ) restaurant ( waiting time, unefficient service, chewing gums under chairs and tables) no variation and selection on breakfast
close to subway stops and many locations within easy walking distance clean and realtively modern rooms for NY standards fast elevators
rooms are very dark in color and lights are not bright enough to work in the rooms Thin walls to adjacent rooms and doors closing are very noisy not a place to eat breakfast but good opportunities nearby
Good size rooms which were clean and large, inviting bathroom.
Nothing about the hotel, but an issue with booking.com. This is the second time I have reserved with booking.com and both times the hotels had a smaller room being held for us than our confirmation stated. This hotel was able to give us the correct room when we produced our written confirmation.
The hotel lobby and the rooms were comfortable and inviting. I loved the décor and ambiance of the hotel. The valet was friendly and welcoming.
The hotel did not let me know that there was $150 added to the hotel bill as an "insurance". So my receipt and what was on hold in my bank account summary did not match. I called the hotel and then they explained it would be removed in 5 business days. I think this should be disclosed verbally before they charge your card for the stay.
The noise of the early morning bin collections There should be more information for tourists
The location was excellent and the rooms were great.
No free coffee or tea in the room so had to walk to Starbucks first thing in the morning.
Attentiveness of staff. Being greeted with a smile. Whether it was the doormen or the housekeeping staff everyone was friendly.
Clean hotel friendly staff
Paid for a king suite but I think we were put in a smaller room. Not pleased with that.
Good breakfast, handsome stuff, big room and bathroom.
Noisy elevator all night.
Very well located, modern, large and clean rooms. Friendly personnel. Very nice roof top bar with good food.
No view. We are looking against another building on the inner coart. You may ask for a more expensive room having a view. On the other side, it is only for sleeping.
Cleanliness, friendly staff
Great hotel, very accommodating staff.
There was a fly in the roon.
the hotel staff was always friendly and willing to hear and solve any issues
noisy and respectless guests
My daughter and I came in for a weekend of shopping and have stayed at the Gans - Park Ave. many times. We loved staying there again. It is our favorite hotel in the city. From Danny at the door greeting us to Luigi behind the desk along with the numerous staff who make our trips so enjoyable - thank you. We will be returning soon and can't wait to stay with you again. They treat is well and are amazingly welcome to my husband and I but especially to our daughter Abbi (it's her favorite place)!!! Thanks again - Natalie Antonelli-Bellavia :)
