Wyndham Garden Dayton South  

All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The banquet room which we used for our wedding reception was well kept and beautiful. The food at the wedding and at the hotel restaurant was amazing!

My stay was fine. It was not memorable but was satisfactory. The room was nice, nothing outstanding but clean. The price was very good. My company will like this. TV was very good.

The air conditioning was poor. It didn't cool off until 3am the day I was to leave. There were 2 bottles of water in the room the first night. Nice. Nothing after that. Not Nice. The access cards didn't work twice during my stay that caused me to go to front desk to fix the issue.

The price of course (always very well priced). Good location with plenty of surrounding facilites of all kinds. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

I wish it was just a tad closer to the University of Dayton, but very well within a 8 minute commute. There was a slight problem getting all the cable tv channels.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. Both times the room served its purpose as being clean and the bed being comfortable. The tv was nice and up to date.

This trip was not a memorable as my first. My room door was left open. I came back to the room at 9 pm and found my door not closed. Secondly when I attempted to promptly call the manager, the phone quick dial buttons did not work for any service (just received a non-connect tone to reservation, service, manager, etc). I had to use my own cell phone to contact the hotel manager. When I finally contacted the manager on duty, he commented he was the only one at the desk and could not leave his post. He just stated, "let me know if I have anything missing and you could have just dialed 0 to get the desk." Thirdly, I attempted to get a drink at the bar and sat at the bar for 10 mins without being severed or acknowledged. The bartender was busy talking on the phone and kept his back to the bar. I believe the bartender should have kept sight of who was at the bar or entering the bar at all times. Thus, I left without receiving any service. The second night I had a better experience, the female bartender was very pleasant and efficient. Lastly, during my first night I had a lot of trash that I placed in a sealed plastic bag and placed on top of the trash can since it did not fit in the can. My trash was not picked up the following day, that was the day I found my door open. I understand mistakes can happen but there seems to be a lack of focus on managements part. Henry Duron

The lobby was very nice. The staff were friendly. The bedding was comfortable. Location was very convenient, right off 75, with shopping and resteraunts nearby and easy to find. We also got a great rate for the room.

There was no phone book in the room. The housekeeping staff needs to be a little more detail oriented. The room was not dirty by any means but wasn't spotless either. We stayed on a Saturday night and the amount of children there was shocking. I had never realized how many people have hotel parties for kids. My guess this would be a wonderful place to stay Sunday through Thursday with far less ruckus from the pool area. If staying on a weekend I would recommend getting a room facing the outside of the hotel, not one looking over the pool area.

The bed was comfortable. Love the lobby area.

They were painting in our hallway almost the entire time we were there. Walkie talkies were a little annoying. Felt weird people right outside our room for most of the time we were there.

We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was one of the most interesting hotel design we've seen.

Comfort of bed (King), lack of vending machine functionality, room services forgetting breakfast, overpriced based on comparable hotels/motels (Red Roof, Comfort Inn, Courtyard by Marriot), pool and hot tubs appeared worn, faucets were installed incorrectly in sinc and shower

We could bring our dog with us! We needed a handicapped room. It was a very pretty hotel.

Did not like thermostat. Couldn't quite figure out how to get the temperature at a comfortable spot.

This was our second stay, at Wyndham, in a week. On this stay, there wasn't much I liked at all.

They were having a large event for VFWO right next to the pool (with lots of alcohol), so I certainly wasn't taking my 2 yr old down to swim with drunks; the bathroom door couldn't open w/o scratching the front if the toilet; there was HAIR in our bed before the sheets had NOT been changed veggie our stay; there was a gap between the headboard and mattress where an electrical plug was that had NO cover and exposed wires; kids or drunks running the halls until after 1am; fire alarm was triggered at 7am because of ppl smoking in their rooms.

Wasn't aware we needed to specify an animal free room, so my wife had a terrible allergy attack because of the animal dander in the bedding. However, upon check out we informed the staff and was refunded half our room charge

The room was clean, pillows where huge! It was all I really needed for a weekend trip. There were plenty of restaurants all around, and some parks to spend an afternoon at. We thought Miamisburg was a nice little town

Two things this place was missing was a continental breakfast and a microwave/ minifridge in the room. That kind of forced us to eat out every meal. It was nice that there was an indoor pool and hot tub, but on our trip, the hot tub was out of order

They had a nice flag pole.

#1. They claim they never received my booking # from you. #2. The place reeked of stale smoke everywhere. #3. The elevator to our 2nd floor room didn't work. #4. The cover on our room phone was missing. #5. There were candy wrappers under my bed. #6. The shower was dirty.

Easy to check in/out. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Bathroom needed lots of work. The shower and sink fixtures were leaking and did not work correctly. The parking lot was not well lit.

The proximity to everything!! Having a restaurant and bar on premises was a plus!! Loved that!!

In need of some tlc!!!!

Very hard to find. No signs showing entrance and no noticable nite signs from roads.
