Garden Inn & Suites - JFK    

Is the worse hotel I have ever been,too bad staff, I booked for a suite ,but they gave me the smallest room , unable to walke , the room size is the bed size only. The money paid doesn't worth the room at all. I advice everybody not to book in this hotel.

Good location from JFK, friendly staff, free shuttle, clean and very comfortable.

The hotel exceeded my expectations considering the price paid for the room. I had no idea it would be on a caliber with Marriott and Hilton. Great breakfast, excellent and friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent location with a view across a spacious park.

Close to airport and because it was an overnight visit, it was very convenient for me. Breakfast selection was good. Room was clean and comfy.

No nearby shops or restaurant

How close it was to airport- and rental place. Once I did receive a clean room bed was comfortable

When I first arrived no help with bags. Retrieved my items and proceeded to room, key didn't work. Headed back down to front desk was greeted with an attitude. Received another key for sane room. Once I entered the room- in urgent need to use restroom. I rushed in as I say down I noticed. Full trash can with used condoms. Dirty towels lining the tub. Sink dirty with hair. Bed unmaid- no one even checked nor cleaned this room. I felt not only a health issue but one of safety. I wondered when I previously tried to enter this room minutes befor, if it was indeed occupied. When I gathered my luggage, and made my way to the front desk yet again, I received an unapologetic sorry- and a new room key. With a try at your own risk attitude, no option for solution- nor did she seem surprised. Gathered my items yet again proceed to room. I my only complaint was black hairs around the bathroom- I myself decide to clean this as I had no energy or desire to deal with the unruly front desk staff.

Lack of eating facilities and lack of interest from clerk. Safe neighborhood? At night? Minimal, even for airport facility. A little snack and coffee before 6:00AM would be nice, though I realize the problem there.

The first room we got access to was not vacant (the reception staff made it up to us though)

Staff was outstanding. Very helpful and courteous. Clean room. Was there for 1 night business travel stay.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly , i loved their breakfast! My room was at 4th and they had 2 elevators just near my room which was great! Airport free shuttle was also great!!

No restaurant nearby , i had to walk approximately 3km to buy some food at burger king and seven eleven!!

I especially liked the service workers in the dining area. Very friendly, clean and attentive!!!

I had continual issues with my door...repeatedly needed my key replaced. Otherwise it was good.

waffles for breakfast and coffee making facilities in the room when you are on a different time schedule and wake up needing coffee when it's actually the middle of the night! had a good room over the entrance with a lovely view.

I was expecting a free shuttle bus and ending up having to pay $20 for a taxi as it took so long to get through immigration.

This is an ex Sheraton Hotel in new clothing. It was excellent. Great staff, great breakfast included, very close to the airport jfk easy shuttle. A great safe park next to the hotel -even a cricket pitch within 500 metres (suburb Jamaica). We overlooked the freeways at the back but nice and quiet. Decor is outstanding.

Our room was quite small for 2 people with luggage. -A small sacrifice for all the other good things.

Lack of clear information on how to get to ny city (the main route to centre was fine but clear explanation on using the subways and how to negotiate the e-w Manhattan divide would have saved time and effort...

Garden Inn far exceeded expectations. Very convenient and exceptionally friendly staff and hotel was like new in every way. Many nice touches like lime water in the lobby and free computer and internet. Excellent value.

I waited too much fot airport shuttle of the hotel

Due to cancelling my flight from jfk, I had to find a place to stay overnight, somewhere close to the airport. Hotel is very comfortable, well equipped and clean! Great value for money I paid! Free shuttle Free breakfast Free wifi Would definitely recommend and stay again!

As I was told when I called the reception, shuttle bus was suppose to come in 5-15mins. I was waiting for almost an hour!! Nothing new when you read previous reviews. So if you are taking shuttle, be prepared to wait! Thats the only downside..

I kept waiting for the bus shuttle for 30 minutes ; and then I called them on phone again. The driver was sleeping, all way.
