The dodgy looking characters hanging about the lobby and outside some of the rooms on our floor...is this why they have a security guard in the lobby??? Felt quite unsafe and nervous. Not a safe area to leave at night for something to eat but the hotel did provide take-away menus at check in, but having just stepped off a 5 hour flight we had no cash on us so had to go back down to the lobby to use the cash machine in amongst some of the dodgy people hanging about....I doubt I'd stay here again!
Breackfast was adequate but not great.
No parking on hotel property. be careful of restricted ares on street in front of hotel: you too could end up with a NYC parking ticket for $115. People hanging out in hallways speaking loudly was annoying.

Not enough parking space
What is advertised on the website is not what I received? Rooms are to small, there was no complimentary breakfast. You don't advertise that the hotel is a shelter. I did not have wash clothes in my room or pillow cases. I asked 4 housekeepers for pillowcases towels did not receive them for over a hour. Anytime I asked the housekeepers for anything I got the run arounds. I am also upset that the staff kept walking in my room without knocking. My room was paid for from me not the government I shouldn't had to feel as if I was in a program your business has to offer. I am 100% displeased and for $235 dollars I shouldn't have had any problems with my room and or service. I also work in the housekeeping field and your service sucks.
Room was comfortable and clean
We played cards in the lobby in the evening and dozens of men came in and signed in with security (not front desk) and got room keys! We think they were homeless. Also, we reserved a room with two beds but were given a room with one queen bed and when we complained to front desk were told no we had not reserved a two bed room and they did not have one available. Also, the van took 40 min to pick us up at airport and it was very cold. Overall, a bad experience and really terrible scary area.

Shuttle service to the airport
The hotel felt a little sketchy. The logo was scratched off the tv and didn't feel very safe in the hotel. I immediately bolted the room door as soon as I entered the room.
I liked that the hotel had parking and I could see my car from the room.
The customer service was horrible. The young lady was very moody. She clearly hates her job. I had a confirmation for a king bed but was given a full size bed. I will not be staying at this location ever again.
Bed was comfortable and the room was quite.
The bathroom have a problem and my TV was showing in black and white.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was tidy and the wifi was fast and efficient. The free shuttlebus to the airport runs every half an hour which was very helpful in the morning.

Nothing was acceptable about this hotel, but when I checked out to leave.
Everything was unacceptable. They had Fema recipients hanging around the lobby,drinking,smoking ,and talking loud. It was very uncomfortable, i thought I was going to be assaulted on my way to breakfast.
The lobby was very pretty, bed was comfortable, the room had everything I needed. I only needed a room for the night in between flights, so it was fine, but I don't imagine any better or worse than any other chain hotel.
The surrounding area isn't particularly safe-- mostly stayed holed up in my room.

The room was dirty when checking in and it was cold and drafty
The bedding was great made the stay pleasurable
The shower was the wrost experience. There was not hot running water the next day took over four calls to get anyone to attemp to fix the problem

I did not like my stay. I will never stay at this hotel again. The only thing I liked was the comfort of the bed. The room was clean.
I didn't like the fact that the hotel lobby and surrounding had some many bums and homeless people. I woke up the morning, wanting to take a shower, there were no hot water. The water pressure was low. The staff were not friendly and accommodating. The day that I checked out, I did not shower because, there were no hot water again, so I didn't take a shower. I went on the flight dirty. The staff did not apologize for the inconvenience. I will never stay or recommend that anyone stays at this hotel. One can stay if he or she prefer not to take a hot shower.
The hotel has a shuttle bus and it takes 10-15 min to and from JFK.
We were given a room that was occupied. They gave us a new room immediately
Peaceful and quite.
They put us in the wrong room 1st night of stay.
The shuttle service (the main reason we stayed there) ended at midnight, no one told us, we had to pay a cab.
