the location. looks of the outside of the cabin.
inside of cabin needs updated some. bigger tv.the add said firewood was supplied we where told we could go to local store to purchase wood
Not much but location is good.
Needs new beds and furniture is very dated. Very overpriced for conditions. I ane stayed in Hampton Inns for less.
The owner is friendly. The room was clean. It is rustic, 40 years old. The fireplace in the cabin was awesome. Large refrigerator, new TV, new microwave, new roof. They seem to be continually upgrading. Which is a good thing. We enjoyed the location. Right next to Mt Rainier's Park entrance. And close to our principle destination. Deer + other wildlife are present. Had walking trails down the street. Had a nice grassy outdoor area with BBQ + picnic tables. 3 queen size beds were perfect for us. All walls are autographed by visitors. Looks like many enjoyed the cabin over the years :) Thanks for a great stay.
If u have allergies then stay in the hotel section as the fireplace is great but causes problems for asthmatics. The floor is a slightly uneven. Could use a larger eating table + a place to hang or store clothes (we used the nails in the walls to hang clothes, rustic.)
Loved the location - right outside of Mt Rainier's s/w entrance. The owner, Kenny, went over and above to make sure we had a great stay.
Booking.com overbooked us (don't fall for the "one more left")- but Kenny made sure we had a place to stay.
cabin was dark and dirty. smelled musty.
The location at the park entrance. We were able to get an early start entering the park and avoided the crowds. The cabins are so cute and have a possibility to become so upscale and cute and comfortable with some serious upgrades. The mature trees were nice.
The mattress was old and lumpy. The cabins need a decorator to give them the look they deserve....also some new mattresses !
Hotel personnel was very kind, nice surroundings.
We slept in a cabin next to some kind of fan, causing a lot of noise.
Fire place and lots of wood. Old time cabin takes you back to another time. Simple and relaxed!
Wifi did not work, carpet was old.
Location is JUST outside the entrance to Mt. Rainier
Cabin is dingy, dirty and in need of renovation. We were in #8
Very close to park entrance.
Old run down cabin, very small nasty shower, no comfortable outside areas. Just a broken half bench outside our cabin to sit on. The cabin and outside common areas leave much to be desired! Very disappointed.
Has stone fireplace, direct tv and fridge.
Wifi was iffy but so was reception with our 4g
The ancient cabins, with slanting floors. More help needed in the kitchen. The one lady was nice, but she had to cook and serve as well, and had too much to do.
Excellent location at Mt Rainier NP entrance. Cosy log cabin with good parking.
No closet or even pegs to hang clothes - could have been problem in wet weather or longer stay.
the fireplace made it cozy, rustic feel of the log cabins, quietness at night, crickets singing
no hairdryer no kitchenette, just a microwave and small fridge
It sucked out loud
It was a slum bucket
Our cabin was perfect for our need. It was quaint and the weather allowed us to use the fireplace which added to a great nights stay. If you are one who needs the luxury and amenties of a first class hotel then this is not for you.
The dirty windows
Location. Deer coming down to feed. Peace and quiet
Very convenient to park entrance. Easy to enjoy nature. Nice place to stay.
Cabin needs an update. New carpet and new beds.
Best part was the location.
Room was dark and dingy. We had 4 adults. The price of the room was for 2 and we knew that it would be 10 extra per person per night, for towels etc. But there were no extra towels added or anything else to support the 4 of us.Office closed at 8pm and we were not back from our outings so could not contact them. WiFi was poor. The beds were horrible. I felt the springs in the I slept in. There was actually paneling between the mattress and box springs..that's how bad they were and the management must have known! Just seemed like all the furnishings came from a 2nd had store. There was hair in the shower that was not ours, the toilet was leaking and instead of replacing and fixing it, they actually had added an extra piece of ??? to support it, I am not sure what to call it..but the floor should have been replaced.
Close to park entrance. Decent value for the location. If you're going to be in the park most of the time and just need a place to sleep, it's fine for that.
Windows were small, seemed dark all the time unless we kept the door open. Fridge was turned way down and didn't know it till all our stuff was warm. No end tables by bed to set your stuff on. Just a really basic room with not much extra.
The cabins are adorable and you just can't beat the location. We had the best breakfast at the restaurant. Our family would certainly stay here again!
Location close to Mt Ranier National Park Nesqually entrance Rustic cabins are a nice fit for a National Park Trip Restaurant had excellent breakfast and great staff
The cottages could use some maintenance. The floor in ours felt spongy in a couple places, which made me nervous. The bathroom could have also use some fix-up.
I liked the location right outside the entrance gate to the park. The grouping and exterior of the cabins is quaint and attractive. They are extremely well cleaned.
The interior of our cabin is sorely in need of refurbishment. The rug was missing rows of fibers, the windows did not all open and of the two that did only one had a screen, the shower door did not fully close and the stall was so small the water sprayed all over the bathroom floor.
Outside was cute. Inside dated, but I expected that and was totally fine with it. Was able to get an additional fan.
The smell. It was awful. We stayed in cabin 8; hopefully, the rest do not smell. Of the two beds, one had not been changed from the past guest (hairs on both sides of the pillows). Shower also had hairs in it.
Located right outside Mt Rainier park.
Dirty Dark even with every light on Graffiti on walls & ceiling Filthy coffee pot - used coffee and grounds left in it. "Kitchen" was a fridge & microwave No deadbolt or throw bolt, just a flimsy knob lock There was a rotten spot in the "kitchen" floor area that when even my daughter stepped on it, shook the whole part of the floor threatening to plunge you through to the slab foundation.
