pool and spa can be cleaner
Nice room and amenity.
Fireworks outside my window in a vacant lot.
Everything was great. Great breakfast choices.
The location is great - quick access to I-5 and North Vancouver. The staff is professional and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean - can use a microwave though.
For some reason breakfast was 15 minutes past the 6:00 a.m. start time, which made my 7:00 a.m. work time in Vancouver a little tight. Would help if the breakfast started on time.
The room was perfect! The staff was beyond helpful and professional and attentive!
It is very important to stay in a room where NO dogs have been due to allergies and to my delight the entire hotel is pet free. I was VERY thankful about this!
Not much breakfast was ok
Emily was at the front desk and demanded my credit card, which I told her that I had already paid on line. She told me that I had not paid. I gave her my card & she charged my card. I went up to our room and brought up my invoice with my payment. I went back to the front desk & showed this to Emily. She replied that if we destroy anything in the room, you will be charged. I ask her to print off that she had removed the 2nd charge, she stated that her printer was out of paper, I asked her to write it down for me. She was very irritated, She threw the note back at me. We will not stay with you in Vancover again.
It had a complimentary breakfast
It is now the holiday inn express they have alot of construction going on everywhere in the hotel.for what I booked online was no where close to what it described online in person.NOT satisfied at all.
Nice room and very friendly staff. Hotel is just in conversion to a Holiday Inn Express. Near good restaurants and other facilities.
would have used the stairs more but they were cleaning up that area due to flooding from a sprinkler head that was broken by a construction crew
Rates were reasonable, pool, exercise facility were clean and well maintained.
They ran out of food before 9:00...we asked if they could refill pancake machine and we were told that breakfast was almost over. The same for the coffee. No cinnamon roles. We were told they were still transitioning to a holiday inn and didn't have them yet. No refrigerators in the room.
Pool and jacuzzi
The name has been changed to Holiday Inn, which was confusing as it made it hard to find the hotel. Why did booking.com list the hotel under its old name? It doesn't make sense.
There had been a water leak that caused a lot of damage. They had blowers on all three floors trying to dry everything out. They put us as far as they could from the noise.
cleanliness, good house keeping
one of the staff was nice and courteous, one of the staff was rude and impolite. no microwave and fridge available for guests. I had kids it was so difficult
This motel is very close to our son's home, and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating.
It will be nice when the remodel is complete, but that didn't cause any problems.
It was quiet, the continental breakfast was more than you would expect and very good. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely use it again when we are in the area. It deserves a 5 star for sure.
The room was very clean. Our stay was short, but we were very comfortable.
The place was nice and convenient. Rooms were nice.
When I checked in and how cold the gentlemen was. I asked if he would like my reservation number and he never answered me. He never said Hello and could care less about me being there. I have worked for hotel in the passed and if I saw that, he would be out! And when I feel at the pool and had to have 12 staples put into my head, he was there that night and still could care less. Thank goodness the lady that was there showed some concern. Sorry, will not return and I will contact the home office.
No ref. in units
Large rooms, large beds, nice pool, great price
Hard beds, not too busy
Was is a good location. Was clean rooms and nice beds. Staff was nice.
there was no refrigerator in our room, even though it said that there would be. Also we had a young child with us and we asked for a first floor room but they put us right at the busy place.
Very nice hotel for the money- good breakfast, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms. Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours, which was nice after an evening out.
Only 1 elevator and it was slow. The stairs were not convenient.
Location worked out Able to be near friends in another room Cont... Breakfast
Didn't seem very clean Rooms seemed outdated Older tv's Elevator broke a couple times Hot tub out of order Not a real friendly host Not a cheerful feel with staff
Unable to access cable channels: the info sheet had not been updated, thus has inaccurate info on it.
Quiet and friendly
Due to a change over to a hotel chain there was no furniture, refrig. or microwave in the room.
