Rock hard bed. Room smelled funny. Towels where like sandpaper. Bed was harder than the floor. wifi signal was weak. And the tv flickered and rolled

The shower didn't drain,front window didnt lock,towels and linens where dirty,the key didn't work properly,tv had only about 10 chnls no HBO as advertice , the manager came inside the room with out knocking ,tha staff was rude, not happy at all I wouldn't stay here again or recommend to any one to do so.

Really nothing they over charge you.my room was 145.00 for a double queen room. Which should have been around 70.00. The heater takes all night to heat up. So you needed extra clothes to stay warm. Its not worth the money at all. Leave this as a last resort.

Same as above nothing's was good. And I was cold all night.

Its proximity to a lot of stores and eating establishments. The lady at the desk was kind and efficient.

The room was a little small for my taste. The rug should have been cleaner.

Very close to the warf and cannery row. No hassle check in and out. Room had microwave and mini fridge. Free HBO.

Room, towels and bedclothes were pretty warn, but all were clean. You get what you pay for!

I cannot begin to describe how physically revolting the room was. The carpet was so filthy our feet became black from walking on it (it was also moist). Less than half of the lights worked. The heater didn't work. The trash from the previous guest was still in the fridge, on the floor, and under the bed. The condition of this motel would make a Bay Area slumlord blush. The continental breakfast consisted of (I am guessing) possible five donuts/muffins and a pot of coffee to share with the neighboring motel. I was not the only guest to go the common room and look confused at the small empty plate with crumbs and empty coffee pot.

Clean, with a firm bed. Hot water works.

Tired 70's era building with paper thin walls, plug in heater, old everything, no coffeemaker.

Comfortable bed and that is all.

As we had to pay A$170.00 per night at this hotel due to the MotoGP at Laguna Seca we expected a half decent hotel to stay at for that price. When booking this hotel through booking.com it advertised that breakfast was included in the price. What breakfast, this consisted of small muffins cut into very small sections with a cup of black coffee, you had to ask for any juice to be provided. The room was not clean, and the towels were so small, old and grey, we had to ask for fresh towels to be provided, they never took away the wet towels from your room. They didn't empty any of the garbage bins and the old TV was unwatchable. A very poor response from hotel staff, hardly looked at you, very unwelcoming. Overall a poor hotel and surprised that booking.com has it listed. We would not recommend this hotel.

The Thunderbird is well past it's prime and in need of basic cosmetic repairs. The rooms are smal, and the shower area hardly usable. The one thing I thought to be most unsuitable were the bath towels. Less than normal size, old, thin and rough. So much so that they wouldn't completely dry you off after a shower. Not a place we would return to .

It was the most affordable place I could find in the area that included free wifi.

The bed was NOT comfortable at all!

paid for king size bed, wasn't given one. room location at the hotel was terrible. I was told king size bed was not available. Room had no a.c. heating system at least 40 years old.

The price was wonderful! However, I think the hotel could use a little face lift. Other than that, the location is great. Right off the freeway and located near everything; shopping centers, restaurants, etc. I was very comfortable. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, STEPHANIE!!

I can't complain...whenever, I stay over at any hotel lately, my biggest concern would be cleanliness and bedbugs. There were none!!!! That's a huge plus for me!!

The one outstanding thing about the Gateway is that it is a pet friendly Motel.

The room was okay but it wasn't clean and fresh smelling. The bedspread smelled as if it hadn't been laundered. Just forget about using the algae filled pond that they call a pool. Can't believe it has aaa approval!!!

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Nettes Motel in ruhiger Lage.

A un quarto d'ora circa dal cuore di monterey, c'è un letto e una doccia. Camera abbastanza spaziosa.

Pulizia delle camere non sufficiente, in special modo la moquette. Odore di fritto in tutta la struttura e lievemente anche in camera. Non del tutto equilibrato il rapporto qualità prezzo, almeno nel weekend.

Wij hadden niet veel keus omdat we een dag te laat arriveerde, moesten daardoor $100,- en de $66,- van de nacht ervoor (dat we er niet waren) betalen. $100,- is echt veel voor dit niet geheel frisse hotel met slechte bedden gelegen aan een drukke weg op een soort industrieterrein 10 km van Monterey. Het ontbijt bestond uit een stukje muffin, niet eens een hele!

Die indischen Hotelbesitzer waren sehr freundlich, das Hotel allerdings eine Katastrophe. Von Flecken auf dem Teppich, den Bettlaken & v.a. auf den Handtüchern über dicke Staubschichten auf sämtlichen Oberflächen zu einer verschimmelten Dusche! Unser Aufenthalt von 23Uhr bis 6Uhr morgens war noch zu lang... nie wieder.

Gute Lage zum Einkaufen und Strand.

Zimmer war etwas düster!
