The best thing I like was leaving the property before the next storm.
Arrived following an ice storm for two nights. The occupancy was 18% and 3/4 of the restaurants were closed. The Jack Daniel's restaurant was open briefly but served only Pepsi products. Jack & Pepsi doesn't cut it. Also the TV channel selection is poor. I missed the golf channel
The room was dirty and the staff was rude.
The hotel itself.. Beautiful :)
Front desk staff without attitude... My reservation requested upper level rooms.. I had 2 reservations and was told I could only use my points on one.. And didn't want to argue with young lady since she didn't even great us with a smile more like a NeXT!!!! Not what you come to expect from a Marriott..
It was beautiful!
Ambience, indoor facilities. All you want it need is within the campus.
Staff was polite, but not especially friendly except for the bellboy who brought our luggage to the room. I guess we expected that legendary "Southern Hospitality."
Property is great. staff is good
Two Dinners, Were not good, breakfast was very good. Egg plant was served with the skin still on.
The gardens were beautiful. That must be where all of the money goes.
Rooms were ok a bit outdated. Make sure you read the fine print. I paid $150 more than what the room charge was. Had to pay for parking each day plus resort & a hotel service fee which included 2 bottles of water & shuttle that we didn't even use. It only transported you around the hotel bldg it was an additional $60 a day for a shuttle downtown & of course multiple taxes..
Everything ! Spa , things to do , shopping , dining,
Should have a Duncan Donuts for people that feel Starbucks coffe is swill! Better pillows.
liked spending time with my grandchildren at good price
NOTHING was included in our overpriced stay. No breakfast/ coffee. Room was not cleaned properly. Dirt and dust behind door. Blood on my bottom sheet.
We stayed here the weekend after Christmas for my daughter's cheer competition. We were not happy at all and won't be staying here again. I have had a back surgery and need extra pillows to sleep. I requested these the the first night and didn't receive them until the second night. We stay at a lot of hotels because of my daughter's cheer team traveling and this is by far the worst yet. We paid $600 for a two night stay and couldn't even get a coffee pot when ours caught fire until we talked to two managers. When we checked in we had to walk for 45 minutes to find our room because no one could tells us the right way to go to get there. The only good things about our stay was it was pretty and the competition was held in the same place. The indoor pool is on the other side of the hotel and there is a hot tube but it's outside. Was not happy and won't stay here again.
The place is just beautiful
The hotel is breathtaking. Definitely larger than I'd imagined. If you didn't leave the hotel you'd still have plenty to do and see.
Our in room coffee pot was not working. I called down to the desk and still 2 days later I didn't receive a replacement. I booked using booking.Com for what I thought was a $542 3-night stay. With all the extra taxes and parking fees my room ended up costing $760. On top of that I paid $30 for a round trip airport transport and another $60 for 2 tickets Round trip to the downtown
Gaylord Opryland Hotel was an amazing surprise stop for us on a long journey from MN to FL. We were blown away by the beauty of the place! We wished that we could have spent more time there and will definitely be back!
Much to see and explore
Poor response to room view
I and my wife loved the garden scenery, we had the utmost time at the resort. The proximity to the Opry Mills was awesome for my wife's shopping experience.
The price of the food is too high , but the service is great.
Superior individual service with pride in a high volume resort. Each employee gave personal attention with smiles and conversation.
Beautiful resort. So much to offer! The best in Nashville!
Relaxing, informative, helpful, great service, spotless, and above all a wonderful trip.
Nothing, everything was great.
I loved the Christmas decorations, the beautiful waterfalls, and the boat ride was fun. Also, I enjoyed the best tasting steak ever at the Hickory Restaurant. Gorgeous facilities!
Not having enough time to enjoy it more.
We liked everything!!!!
The lights were great. Decorations and shops in hotel were great. Food in hotel was great. Beds were comfortable. Valet parking was good most of the time. Balcony, atrium view room views are awesome.
Rooms are overpriced for what you get, rooms are nothing special. Plus you have to pay for parking even if you self park. Plus added resort fees, etc.... are ridiculous and price your stay out of range. Food is over priced in hotel. Some bars, grills have odd hours and are not open at opportune times it seemed. A big bottle neck on valet parking at check out time.
All of the beauty inside
