Availability of restaurants. The Queso Dip at the Mexican restaurant was awesome.
Extra resort charge. And parking fees.
Clean, very nice facility with lots to see and do. Comfy rooms and clean.
I was sent an email 24 hours prior to check in asking for my preferences. They offer a selection of preferences so I said I would like a room that was on a higher floor with a view. I got the first floor, parking lot/tour bus driveway view. NONE of our request were met. That was a little disappointing. Also valet was terrible. Grossly understaffed and in general from the steak house greeter to the valet people staff was not very friendly. Not the type of treatment I would expect to see at a $265/night resort/hotel.
Loved the atmosphere, room service and retrieving my car from valet parking was very quick service!
Bed and pillows were too hard
The facilities, room and staff were great
Was a cool place to walk around
Way too crowded, too long of wait times to eat, traffic was difficult to get in and out of the resort, a little pricey
We stay at the Gaylord once a year during the Holidays. We live locally but this is like being on vacation.
My only disappointment was the location of our room. We paid extra for an interior balcony room only to find we were on the first floor with only a view of the Sports Bar & people in line to see Sandy.
Friendly staff great atmosphere and ambiance
Over crowded with non hotel guest if I'm paying money to stay at hotel why do I get thrown in mix with other guest who are not staying at hotel
I thought this place was beautiful, but expected more for the price.
The parking was $29.00 to valet park. Self parking was $19.00 a day. It was so crowed and the noise was loud enough you couldn't have a conversation. If you are taking small children the big pit is not properly protected. While we were sitting in the atrium we saw a small child climb on the rocks and almost fall down a 25' drop off.
Friendliness of staff. Restaurants were excellent. Great wine bar. Location was perfect to get around the metroplex and airport.
Bed was average. Room was simple, but very clean. Small TV.
I was impressed with the beauty and the upkeep of the property. At the time of my stay, the Christmas theme was being put together and I wish that I could have stayed longer to see it completed. I will definitely stay there again
I had booked a room for my wedding night as a surprise for my new bride. Once we checked in, we found out that our regular room reservation was upgraded to a suite for free! It ended up being a night beyond our expectations!
Nothing bad. Service great. People great. Worth every penny spent.
I loved staying there I would go again. Especially loved checking out over the phone
I felt for the cost it the room it could have been bigger and more impressive. And the hallway has a sour smell. Also the hot tub has a rock type coating that hurts if u sit too long.
Relaxing atmosphere Easy to travel to restaurants and shopping
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. From Nadine who checked us in, to Carolyn and Maurice who served us at the River Walk Restaurant, to C.J. and Jacob who took care of our luggage coming into the hotel and then checking out and to the ladies who kept our room very clean and neat. They were courteous, extremely friendly and overall terrific. Really looking forward to returning soon.
Do wish there had been more drawers in the room for storage of clothes.
The added charges were ridiculous. Still trying to figuire out their math.
The facilities are excellent and the staff was good. Emily, at check-in was exceptionally nice and mDe sure all of our questions were answered. The Old Hickory steak house was fantastic. I can recommend the bone-in ribeye and habanero corn
Occupancy was very low the second night of our stay. All of the bars and restaurants were closed with the exception of the Texan Station. However, when we tried to get a seat on the patio, we were told we could not sit at any of the open tables because they were reserved for staff of the Dallas Cowboys. We ended up leaving to find a restaurant
Everything was so clean and neat. Nice view from room. Nice staff, would come back, with a good discount deal was pricey. Food was delicious, margaritas omg so good for 10 bucks
I called for room service and nothing. Called again and nothing, till the 3 rd time they came...coffee maker didn't work. Sink was leaking from a handle. My husband said just leave it. What I needed in the room was a microwave for my sons warm milk but didn't have any at all..paying for parking was rediculous, why not make it free, I mean we are paying extra for resort stay
The atmosphere was amazing
If you don't drive a Mercedes when you pull up you might have to flag down someone, and they need to have a place designated for check in, vehicle would not fit in the garage and there was no place to park
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful throughout the resort.
Paradise Springs was very crowded and limited for children to enjoy.
Good atmosphere it's like you are in big resort . Good places to hang out night
The location is beautiful and the staff for the most part ... That's probley about it...
The fact that we put the school on 65 the whole trip and were sweating when we slept. The fact that you could leave early in th morning come back at 5 in the afternoon And your room still has not been cleaned.. The fees are outrageous the restaurants are so expensive ... Room service was tasteless ... And checkin was very rude and unhelpful ....but everyone else was nice
Over priced food. Pools were small. water park was jam packed on Saturday along with horrible service at water park. Expected the pools/water park to be a little bigger given the size of the hotel. They charged my debit card 3x for our visit and couldn't resolve the issue until Monday. Thankfully my bank was able to help reverse the charges.
Water park with shuttle Indoor riverwalk Staff
Expensive restaurants No breakfast included
we booked a room with 2 beds, which they did not have, so we had to ask for a pull up bed which was delivered to the room and left uninstalled and with no room to actually put it so we had to move furniture, i hurt myself in the process... avoid it like the plague!! if you have young kids. its not clear what this is, a huge conference hotel, a family hotel, a resort, but they do neither well.. had to ring 3 times for luggage to be picked up. all in all a huge dissapointment
Great facility. Will definitely stay again.
The game room was a bit run down.
