Relaxing atmosphere Easy to travel to restaurants and shopping
The facilities are excellent and the staff was good. Emily, at check-in was exceptionally nice and mDe sure all of our questions were answered. The Old Hickory steak house was fantastic. I can recommend the bone-in ribeye and habanero corn
Occupancy was very low the second night of our stay. All of the bars and restaurants were closed with the exception of the Texan Station. However, when we tried to get a seat on the patio, we were told we could not sit at any of the open tables because they were reserved for staff of the Dallas Cowboys. We ended up leaving to find a restaurant
Everything was so clean and neat. Nice view from room. Nice staff, would come back, with a good discount deal was pricey. Food was delicious, margaritas omg so good for 10 bucks
I called for room service and nothing. Called again and nothing, till the 3 rd time they came...coffee maker didn't work. Sink was leaking from a handle. My husband said just leave it. What I needed in the room was a microwave for my sons warm milk but didn't have any at all..paying for parking was rediculous, why not make it free, I mean we are paying extra for resort stay
The atmosphere was amazing
If you don't drive a Mercedes when you pull up you might have to flag down someone, and they need to have a place designated for check in, vehicle would not fit in the garage and there was no place to park
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful throughout the resort.
Paradise Springs was very crowded and limited for children to enjoy.
Good atmosphere it's like you are in big resort . Good places to hang out night
The location is beautiful and the staff for the most part ... That's probley about it...
The fact that we put the school on 65 the whole trip and were sweating when we slept. The fact that you could leave early in th morning come back at 5 in the afternoon And your room still has not been cleaned.. The fees are outrageous the restaurants are so expensive ... Room service was tasteless ... And checkin was very rude and unhelpful ....but everyone else was nice
Over priced food. Pools were small. water park was jam packed on Saturday along with horrible service at water park. Expected the pools/water park to be a little bigger given the size of the hotel. They charged my debit card 3x for our visit and couldn't resolve the issue until Monday. Thankfully my bank was able to help reverse the charges.
Water park with shuttle Indoor riverwalk Staff
Expensive restaurants No breakfast included
we booked a room with 2 beds, which they did not have, so we had to ask for a pull up bed which was delivered to the room and left uninstalled and with no room to actually put it so we had to move furniture, i hurt myself in the process... avoid it like the plague!! if you have young kids. its not clear what this is, a huge conference hotel, a family hotel, a resort, but they do neither well.. had to ring 3 times for luggage to be picked up. all in all a huge dissapointment
Great facility. Will definitely stay again.
The game room was a bit run down.
They upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite!!!! We really enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our 29th anniversary and they made it very special. We went to the Riverwalk Cafe for dinner. Our waitress presented us a gift: a bottle of Italian sparkling wine!! We had an absolutely wonderful time. We were made to feel so welcome and well cared for! We will definitely return!!!!
We loved everything
The hotel itself is very nice! We enjoyed the water park on the property as well.
Our room was hot even though we had the air cranked down to 65.
Great place, great amenities
Watch for "service charges" at restaurant - really was just additional gratuity. People don't like sneaky - good service gets rewarded with nice gratuity. Don't hide it in the bill.
This is a beautiful hotel; beautiful and very well maintained. Several very nice restaurants, nice pool, and great water park just minutes down the road with frequent shuttle service. The common area is lovely; lots of art work, gorgeous flowers, train sets (for the kiddos to enjoy) and a very relaxing atmosphere. Our rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The staff was great, very accommodating & friendly.
Our biggest complaint was that everything was extremely expensive! They charge $25 per day for valet parking, $18 for self-parking! The confirmation we had from bookings.com said breakfast was part of our meal plan @ $18 a day. The hotel said it didn't know anything about that pricing & the meal was $21. The confirmation also said we'd have robes & slippers - we did not. We expected it to be a bit pricey since it is a resort but it was over the top as far as we were concerned. Considering the cost of the room paying $25 or even $18 per day for parking was excessive
Fitness center and texas station grill
Felt the atrium was not very interactive and just a lot of open space. Thought the river walk cantina was subpar compared to other mexican restaurants as it lack quality and flavor. There are no activities on Sunday which is unexpected for the summer. Too many charges for hotel which may be a result of not having consistent traffic to offset expense; perhaps a more busier city like Houston or the like would attract more of a crowd to offset expense. Unlike other resorts like the Hyatt Hill Country Resort, I felt this one is far behind in providing family activities (like movie with s'mores in a open space). Gaylord should definitely take notes on how Hyatt Hill Country provides a resort experience for family and non family.
Did not honor my military discount and when I brought it up to several staff members they basically did nothing about it and sent me on my way.
The staff was great went out of their way to help
The food at the Mexican restaurant was something I could make at home and the price was to high for what we had.
Having to wait 30min for our valet to get our car. They couldn't find our car or they misplaced keys or something. Its all good though they really showed us they cared when they compensated us the valet parking fee. Peoples attitudes were great even in the lil bit of hassle
Loved the enormous indoor atrium and that it's climate-controlled (not hot or muggy) even though you feel like you're outdoors. Pool area was nice.
Wish there was a microwave somewhere on property--we had 3 sets of leftovers in fridge in room but couldn't use them because we were told by lady at front desk that there was not a microwave available to guests. Makes sense that they want you to eat out more at their restaurants but wasn't convenient or practical.
All pools system and water park
Everything, the room seemed small for the price, but the resort was beautiful and relaxing.
Price is a bit too high
EVERYTHING! Helpful and very FRIENDLY!
Service for cocktails at pool very slooooowwww...
the hotel itself is beautiful
staff not very helpful, all standing around. Security left and I couldn't get a phone charger to use. Since these are not a security issue surly someone else should have been able to provide one for my use. I was stranded due to bad weather and couldn't fly out. I had not lugguge, staff never offered me anything, comb, toothbrush, paste, etc.
