The twin bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Perhaps a softer mattress (or topper) would help and some way to secure the mattress so it doesn't slide out of place so easily.
Our time at the Inn was a dream! The visual impact of the cottages as we drove in convinced me we had chosen the perfect place for our relaxing vacation. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming without being the least intrusive. The lovely decor and total cleanliness completed the picture of perfection. The kitchen held everything one would need for meals 'at home'. The Franklin fireplace in the living room made me yearn just a little for cold, rainy weather. That was not to be. So we happily enjoyed the sunny weather and our stay at this cozy, enchanting Inn.
Take a few minutes and check out the private back yard garden with umbrellas over the picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, bistro sets - and lawn games if you want action. Bring a book in case you prefer relaxation.
Be sure to have dinner - make reservations early - and lunch, at the excellent restaurant just around the corner. Enjoy morning specialty coffee and the best melt-in-your-mouth Danish pastries at the adjoining bakery, but get there early - they sell out fast. The nearby store and deli will make a good sandwich and salad for you for another day's lunch. Top it off with a Tillamook ice cream cone, or yummy homemade fudge at the candy and ice cream store just a few steps away.
The Inn and the nearby amenities give the impression of staying in a small French village, sans an overseas flight!
