Great location near the end of the C&O Canal, close to the Potomac River waterfront and many restaurants. Good breakfast.
Fairly long walk to the nearest Metro station (Foggy Bottom).
Area was great. The staff was great.
Showed signs of aging.
Georgetown is a lovely area of the city with stylish buildings and a reclaed canal making it a vibrant shopping and eating area with good facilities all round recommended area for a good place to unwind after an Atlantic flight
Location, breakfast, good standard of hotel.
Noisey air conditioning unit in room.
- spacious rooms - friendly staff - great location in Georgetown - close to Circulator bus stop - plenty of choice for breakfast
Bad location- very noisy hotel that you cannot sleep - old furniture - dirty carpets - full of mosquitoes - very slow wifi - bad smell - no washing machine - very old chicken wares - breakfast very limited - in conclusion do not stay in this hotel
The location was great also the staff is helpful and friendly
The nearest metro station was a little bit far ( if you walk to it )
No siming pool in site
Cooking Facility Real High Speed Wifi Great Breakfast Top Location, right at the heart of georgetown
The price, a bit expensive but well worth it
The location and room are big and clean
you need to pay extra money for parking
We all felt we got really good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The location was great. Good varitey of food for breakfast and you could cater for yourself if you wanted to
Its we located in the heart of georgetown, if you are in good shape all memorials are reachable by walking. Breakfast was simple, with good selection. Even though its a sort of hotel, the rooms give you a homey feeling.
Excellent location, clean room, and friendly staff
The refrigerator in our room quit working on our last evening, however the staff did provide us with ice.
Nice location. Roomy rooms.
Dated interior. Common areas could use sprucing up
we liked the size and Kitchen facilities and location is the best.
The room was larger than the usual hotel room. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was great--right in Georgetown with cute shops and great restaurants. Easy to stroll around and return to hotel within a few minutes.
Nice assortment of breakfast choices, 90% of front desk personal friendly and helpful, reasonable walking distance to bus stop and/or subway, clean establishment, lots of eateries and shops surrounding, great pillows
Loud morning garbage trucks start at 0726 and continue throughout morning outside windows. All washers out of service without being fixed, we counted on these for the week and were obligated to go elsewhere.
It was amazing staying at the hotel and the area was straight out a of "beauty and the beast" town everyone was friendly and the staff more importantly the manager was awesome
Great location in Georgetown, easy walking to restaurants, shops, etc. King sized bed was brand-new and very comfortable. Our suite was huge, which helped with two small kids. Breakfast offerings were good. Front desk staff were professional, courteous, and helpful.
Georgetown has no Metro stop, so if you want to see the rest of DC, you'll walk for miles or take a cab. Our suite had a full kitchen, but there are no grocery stores within walking distance, so we didn't use it. The hotel is a bit dated, despite attempts to "upgrade" with granite countertops in the kitchen and bath.
Located in gorgeous Georgetown, but very easy to access all the usual sight seeing stuff . Good breakfasts and 1 bedroom suite was huge, clean and very pretty .
Expensive car parking - $30.00 a night !
The value was excellent. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Convenient to public transportation and the staff were very good. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and had a good variety. I would come back and stay there.
The air conditioner was noisy, the hallway carpet was worn out.
Big appartement Close to harbour and Lincoln memorial Bikes close by Restaurants and shops close by
Grey (dark), poor breakfast Not cosy
Some street noise
We stayed in a King Suite on the 5th floor. Very spacious indeed. Slept the four of us (two adults and two teenagers) very well. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and plates. Filter coffee was left for us to use, and everything was tidied up each day. Loved it. The location is great being on the edge of Georgetown with easy access to the main sights. We used Uber cars throughout our stay to get around. The breakfast is amazing, not meagre at all. Lots of choice for a continental breakfast. The staff were very helpful with the exception of one of the reception desk staff who seemed to think he was a maître d' of a 5* hotel. It was funny as all the other staff ended answering our questions and ignoring him!
Such a noisy room! The air con in the room sounded like a jet plane. That mixed in with the air con units on the roof above our room wasn't fun. We got used to it, but it was a bit of shock. The breakfast area was small and very busy. We got down there early to avoid the rush, but some people weren't able to get a table.
The staff did an excellent job accommodating our needs.
